And a player meeting and blah blah blah. What's the deal? Haven't been watching ESPN.

Is this an :omg: situation?

Apparently they mentioned something on CFB live about Barrett Jones calling a players only meeting and people have been tweeting about it.

Yeah, I went searching for it after you said something. It's good that the upperclassmen decided to nip it in the bud last week. Things happen. I hope they focus in this week and have a great week of practice. I wouldn't make too much of it. Last week was an easy week to be distracted--it was the Holidays.

Also, Notre Dame will need to play their best to beat Alabama. I'm not so sure Alabama has to be at their best to beat Notre Dame.

I also don't see Notre Dame putting up 21 in the 1st quarter ala aTm. They might jump on the team, but it will be to the tune of 7 or 10 rather than 21.

I don't really worry about things like that, especially when the media is sort of trying to build a story for drama. Just wondered if anyone had heard anything else.

I saw that Notre Dame's team had a beach party, so I assume they are in the same boat.

Crimson Tide linebacker Nico Johnson said Friday the meeting convened by the team's leadership group before the previous day's practice seemed to help.

ESPN wrote an article on Friday about a meeting held on Thursday before practice.

They are just hurting for something to write about and looking for page views.

Am sure it was to compliment Saban's horrible choice of staying at the Fontainbleau.

That dude is in over his head. He doesn't pay attention to the little things and is far too relaxed about games.

Wish we had someone like Ellis Johnson back at the helm.

Alot of young guys on this team. It's being blown out of proportion.

They do. They've had the contract with the Fontainbleau for years, and the individual teams have absolutely no say over where they are assigned, despite having to pay for the rooms.

Won't matter, the veterans at least know their shite, and with just that we can beat ND.

We shouldn't be arrogant. ND will be pumped and focused for this, we need to bring everything we've got.
