Anyone who doesn't think so, just looked at how GA took apart Bama's defense when Damion Square was forced to move to NT. Jesse has more to do with Bama's rush defense than any of the other players, he keeps the LBs clean.

Geno Smith also played an excellent game. Now if Bama would just find a way to get Fulton in the game instead of Sunseri, our defense could reach its potential.

Sunseri didn't really play on D until the last drive when we had him out there and Lynch looked like Gronk.

Fulton normally plays outside when he does play, and we move Milliner inside to Star. With Geno succeeding at Stat that lets us keep Milliner outside where we want him. I personally rather see Fulton than Geno, but whatever works I guess.

And I agree, Jesse is a monster and I think anyone doubting his season looked at that and said "Ok, he's legit."

Granted we had to move a DE to Nose and not our backup NG. I kinda wonder why we didn't put Lake in.

Made that huge stop to on 3rd and short, just all Williams.

I wanna see the secondary packages from the SEC title game again to see the units out there. They had Perry out there at one point(and gave up a big play) and of course Vinnie was there. I'm not even sure I recall Fulton out there...

Ivory is the guy who blew that play up IIRC.

The only time I saw him he was on the sidelines, but he was in uniform and had his helmet with him. He COULD still be hurt, but I think they just figure with Geno at Star we don't really need him right now. If we taught Geno Money we could bring him in and slide Dee to Star in Dime situations, but that's just putting a lot on Geno's plate.

Only time Lake has played is when Williams moves outside and tells him what to do at NG.

I take that as enough to presume he wasn't ready for a big time situation.

Ivory went down to the ground on that play. In theory he was a log for Todd's feet, but Jesse made that play happen.

I'll see it again tomorrow, but Williams made the tackle through the gap stoning Gurley. I may have exaggerated a little, but he put him down.

It's a 180 from last season, go watch him play short yardage against LSU in the regular season. He didn't know how to play it, so he passrushed.

To be fair, I don't like hearing (DVR) Gary say that Jesse isn't that good of a passrusher. Yeah, he isn't gonna get a shite ton of sacks, but I've seen him force a lot of bad throws and pressure the QB all year. I wish we had him for another year.

They were both out there on the same play.

JW gets my vote. Dickson had a couple good plays early but was quiet the rest of the game.

On a completely unrelated note, I saw Fanning joking around with Pagan on the field after the game and Fanning towers over him. Guy is a physical specimen. Would love for him to put it all together and be a Dareus-like impact DT for us next year.

I have been telling some fans for a while now that Pagan and Fanning are the two most gifted athletes on the teams in terms of size and athletic ability.
