Perhaps his passing deep down field to his right has been impacted by the revolving door of average we've had at RG for him this season. He's always got someone in his face when he's in the 5-7 step drops that side.

29% of passes are behind los. I thought it would be higher.

11% of passes over the middle. Seems low but maybe that's standard

29/51 from 10-20 yards is pretty solid.

The middle makes sense I think. We avoided it like the plague for most of the year.

I'd like to see how those numbers compare to other quarterbacks.

It isn't very specific or detailed, but it does note that bright green is top 25th percentile, and red is bottom 25th percentile.

2 tds and 4 interceptions over 20 yards. Hopefully he'll get that straightened out.

I don't know if that's correct. He threw a long td in the first game vs USC and one last week. I thought he had more than that.

Doesn't appear to include last two games

Yeah I was thinking that. He isn't bad as some make out. If anything he is slightly above average.

Apparently throw aways are not counted as incompletions. If that's the case, the chart may include all but the AU game.

With OJ, it is criminal in my mind.

76 passes behind LOS.

83 passes on the left side of the field and down the middle combine.

Wow insane that a true freshman QB was asked to make a bunch of safe, highly effective throws! ROFL!

Most of those behind the line "throws" were basically handoffs to at least take some advantage of the talent of Ridley and Stewart.

I think what gets lost in the general discussion of safe throws is how good Jalen is at swing passes. Almost all of his swing throws are perfect throws that get the receiver the ball with momentum moving forward. Difference in 3 yards and 8 yards.

Agreed, highly effective.
