Is the road to the championship much easier minus Ohio State?

I wanted to get revenge, but the truth is I think the road has gotten much easier with them gone. Is that so?

Oklahoma and Clemson are roadblocks. I can't see anyone else being too much of a problem.

I would have rather played OSU than OU. OSU wasn't getting it done all year but OU has momentum right now.

Hell no. OSU isn't good this year. Their offense is a joke and plays right into what Alabama does on defense. I think they'd struggle to score 14 points.

I don't really think it's changed a whole lot. Before the season I thought OSU would be even better than last year. They returned a large majority of their team.

I've watched a few games and they haven't looked good all year (for their standards of course). This was the first good team they played and they lost. Herman left and that seems to be the difference maker. I forget who their oc is now but considering all the calls for his head after the MSU game i'm gonna assume he is mediocre. Ezekial Elliot got like 12 carries or something like that.

So yeah....I would have loved to play OSU. They aren't as good as they seem on paper. I thought they were gonna be really really good this year but they really aren't.

I would love to see them sneak into the playoffs. I would be very confident we would win.

As of now I would think that Clemson and OU would be our biggest challenges in the playoffs.

We'd blow out Iowa and Notre Dame too IMO. Oklahoma could beat us. Clemson has the QB to do it, but with the way this pass rush plays I don't know if even Watson would be able to win it for em.

If baker mayfield is out they probably won't be OSU, they should have lost to TCU but TCU screwed themselves.

Best case scenario for us would be Iowa and Notre Dame. Worst case scenario would be OU and Clemson.

I agree with everyone about OU. Really don't want to face Baker Mayfield. Especially if we have to play OU in Dallas. He is exactly the kind of QB that gives us fits. Would rather have faced Ohio State.

Clemson could be tough for us as well. Good offense and good defense. If they could handle Cook, then they could potentially handle Henry.

These are good problems to have though.

Let's take care of lil bro first and then the annual December Bama game in Ga. Then we can start talking the playoffs.

Obviously Auburn and Florida will give us their best shots, need to play well and beat those two. After that, OU and Clemson scare me the most with those mobile QB's who can pass, as well as great skill players and decent defenses. I'd love to get Iowa and ND

If anything I think it got a little harder. Ohio State is not good this year.

Telling you right now our front 7 would eat Mayfield alive.

Texas played them physical and bloodied their noses. I like our chances against the Sooners.

Given that Sparty will pretty much take their place (or Iowa if they somehow beat them in the B1G Championship game), I think we're better off. I'd much rather go against a traditional team than the possibility that Barrett/Elliot would repeat what they did to us last year.
