Is anyone worried about the Wisconsin game?

They did better against Auburn than I was expecting, but Bama isn't Auburn. It's the first game, but if the team is serious about winning a title this year, I think they come out with something to prove. And Wisconin always has a good run game, but we always have a good run d, and this year it should be one of the best of the Saban era. That front line is nasty. I couldn't think of a better showcase of our front 7 to open the season.

It's look like a great matchup for Bama. Wisky's strength is running the ball and Bama's strength on defense is stopping the run. But then again, Clint Trikett and Kevin White were completely unknown heading into 2014 and for all we know Wis. might have unknown players of their caliber as well heading into this season. Regardless, can't wait for the season!!!

I wouldn't call White and Trikett unknowns at all.

I feel great about the Wisconsin game though.

Trikett had under 2K passing yds with 7 TDs and 7 INTs in 2013 while White had like 30 catches and 500+ yds. But they (especially White) did great against Bama and rest of the season. That being said it's probably not likely Wisky has enough talent to hurt Bama with a passing game.

Not overly, really depends on if Bama is one dimensional or not come that game.

They've got a experienced secondary, but some chinks in the front 7. They'll likely commit to the run, so they'll have to make some plays on that DB group.

Doubt their offense is much different, conservative but doesn't give the ball away. The wheels fall off when they are playing from behind because Joel Stave can't carry a team.

No way their run first offense stands a chance against our front seven. Blowout.

Wisconsin's passing game is terrible. You have to pass to beat Bama.

What could be a reason for concern is if Wisconsin's run game is much stronger than we thought. If they're able to consistently run the ball on us, that means trouble

Another thing to maybe worry about is if Wisky can run the ball consistently, and their QB can throw a great deep ball, that will cause our defense issues.

Now I'm optimistic about this defense. I think Tucker will toughen up this secondary, and our front 7 will be the nastiest since 2011.

I do think we dominate and win, but Wisky is not a slouch opponent. I've heard their defense will be stout this year, which means our offense cannot come out flat.

If they can consistently run on us, they will win the super bowl.

If their defense is tough, this game game could easily resemble a game vs. LSU - where Bama might have the more talent, but struggles to put it away.

They might not run for huge numbers, but if they can manage field position, they can certainly put Bama's O in some bad spots and see if Coker, etc. will make a mistake.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Bama win in a blowout, but wouldn't at all be surprised to see a 17-13 type of game either.

If Bama plays sloppy or sluggish and it turns into a field position game, we still have JK Scott.

JK Scott + what this defense should be = shutouts, hopefully.

Speaking of shutouts, I'm hoping all three of the cupcakes get shutout and the other home games keep the opponent below double digits. Need to get the fear back.

I just don't see how Wisconsin can play with us.

They aren't a big play team. They are tailored around sustaining drives, and we typically don't let teams do that.

Our issue the last few years has been getting off the field on third down, but that issue only rears its head against dynamic quarterbacks

No, unless they somehow magically get Melvin Gordon back

Not a bit.

It worries me that I'm not worried, though.

If Bama's offense stutters…… (ole Miss Arky) they will have a small chance of losing. Other than that I see no possible way.
