600 yard games in the Stallings, DuBose, Franchione, and Shula eras: 0

600 yard games in the Saban era: 8

Before Nick Saban arrived at Alabama, the last time an Alabama team had posted 600+ yards of offense in a single game was against LSU in November 1989. Nick Saban coached teams have had eight 600+ yard games, all of them occurring in this decade.

But what games were they? I imagine at least 1 or 2 is a cupcake.

I've never been more happy for an Alabama football player than I was that day for Blake Sims.

If it wasn't for all the turnovers that day, Bama had on offense, they would have beaten Florida around 63-0.

The only reason Florida scored was because of a short field after a turnover, they couldn't move the ball against the Bama D that day. Bama would have easily scored 21 more points had they not turned the ball over like crazy.

It would have ended Florida's 200 or something game streak without getting shutout.

Blake got dinged a little and had to go to the Locker-room.When he came jogging out Bryant-Denny erupted for him.

I'm sure that felt good to him.
