I'll take 10-3 then win the the national title for the next two years.

We will be rebuilding the defense next year, and if we don't sign a sick DL class this year we're really going to be hurting there. We usually win titles when our defense is set and our offense is rebuilding. IOW, our odds are likely better in 16 than 17 IMO.

My biggest concern, that no one is talking about, is the offensive line

That's where I am. The loss of Kelly at C is HUGE. Go back and watch the A&M game last year and the difference in the offense from 1st half compared to the 2nd half after he left the game with a concussion. And that was against an average, at best, defense.

I don't think it will be that glaring of an issue as it was in that game, but it is concerning with a new QB and RB.

I have a very good feeling about this year. If a couple of guys step up and provide critical depth at DT/NG then this defense will be salty as frick. This will help the offense should it struggle early on.

I hear you but it doesn't seem like this matters. I had a bad feeling about last year before the season, and then after Ole Miss I thought there's almost no way we run the table. These teams under Saban have a way of looking iffy in the offseason and then growing into a monster later in the year.

I can kinda see this reasoning. I think that once I see us actually play then I'll feel better about the year.

If we beat Ole Miss then I'll feel REALLY good .

Why? Our secondary is absolutely stacked and will most likely have 6 or more pick 6's. Eddie Jackson is going to wreck house and Reuben Foster will be Hightower 2.0 at stopping the run. I'm excited as frick about this season and think we have a good chance of running the table.
