One of my oldest closest friends mother has been battling cancer and it's now time. The family is all lifelong Tide fans. She is home now and is in a lot of pain when she is awake. He wants her to make it through the game but he is not sure it will happen.

I've known the woman for almost my entire life. This is going to be one of the most difficult games to watch I've experienced.

Let's hope she gets to see one last one. frick Clemson and frick cancer.

Prayers. Even though football is "just a game", the memories that are built around it last forever.

Damn. I'm sorry to hear that. My mom was diagnosed with cancer and congestive heart failure 6 months ago. She had surgery yesterday for an unrelated problem. She's a huge Bama fan and her and my dad will be watching in her hospital room. Roll Tide!

That is terrible, I'm so sorry - I will keep both her, her family and you in my prayers. I hope that she gets to see this one be a victory tonight, too.

Man... Rest in peace and roll Tide ashman. Judging from that post, he was a good human, and did life right. May his spirit live on.

Eta : just spent a few minutes looking through and laughing hard at some of his farks

One of the greatest things can leave on this earth is humor that can be enjoyed even after you pass away.
