How good this Bama team leadership is. If they come out flat,
about like the last few years. If they come out and take care
of business like I think they should, it's gonna be a long day for whoever we play.

i expect we will start out slow. A lot of emotion went into the LSU game. I like that it is an afternoon game though

If the secondary plays well this game will be over before the 4th. MSU is a decent team, but no where near the talent of Bama.

I think will be a tough game. Hope we play slow ball control field position game and depend on D

Thinking 27-17 ish

Agree will show if we are ready to go all the way

we need our front 4 to get pressure on Dak and keep him in the pocket. That should be the key

I believe this game will hinge on how fast the offense can find its rhythm. MSU is too good to come out slow like against Arky, ULM, or MTSU. If Bama can start fast offensively, this game ends quickly.

the defense has been constant all year. If the offense doesn't turn the ball over. Bama will win by 17 plus. Chill out people Miss. St. is NOT THAT GOOD. They have beaten no one with a pulse this year. As far as the LSU hangover goes, that is just something us Bama fans made up as an excuse for the loss to A&M in 2012.

I'm hoping for a Mississippi State game like the one from 2011.

I was kind of nervous about this game at first, but the closer it gets, the more I think that we are going to blow the doors off of them. Our defense is playing like a bunch of hungry bears.

Sure, last Saturday's game was physical, but it was probably one of the least physical games for our defense against LSU in years-on account of us dominating them in the trenches. They forced a lot of three and outs, and they just really couldn't block us.

It didn't seem to be the emotional drain of years' past LSU games.

Most of our guys faced Dak last year, and did a great job against him, and some have faced him twice. This year they don't even have a legit every down RB.

I am not saying it is out of the realm of possibility for MSU to beat us on Saturday, but I will believe it when I see it.

The defense was only on the field for 20 minutes against LSU. Henry should be the only one worn out from that game.

I think our Defense has progressed further than Dak. He is a remarkable SEC QB while our defense is relieving national praise and "best ever" talk.

I think we mush rush and have Ragland spy Prescott. It's similar to how we defended Tebow in the 2009 SEC Championship Game.

I'm with you on this. I think this team is coming together at the right time. I think the rest of the season will be a series of statement games.

I hope you are right. It would be nice to see Bama close it out like they did in 11' and 12'.

I imagine a spy, not sure how much rush. This is basically defending similar QB play from that game.

If I recall, we looked very pretty rusty against Ga. Southern, and Miss. State in 2011.

2012 we lost to TAMU.

I was referring more to the IB, SECCG and bowl performances, but yes you are right, we looked really bad against Georgia Southern and MSU in 2011.

Agree if the back end of the Defense can stay with the receivers and let the linebackers cover the middle of the field and the front keep Dak and the Rb's in check Bama runs away with this game. Just don't see their D stopping our Offense.

I don't think this game is going to be as in doubt as everyone seems to think it will be.

Hopefully I'm right.
