I would love to try something like this since I don't have cable anymore, but I'd have to use my SmartTV (Sony) to watch the games. We always have people over, and saying to come in the game room to watch just wont work. For all that I know about the internet, I'm really new, and slow, to the ability and knowledge of not paying for shite. Any other advice when it comes to streaming with the TV? Also, my wife's laptop got wrecked the other day, so no hooking that up.
About $60
I have this LINK

Honestly, if you guys are currently a house without a computer, then fix your wife's laptop OR buy a new/used one and solve several problems at once.
The gameroom has my desktop, which is pretty good I guess. Couldn't I just move that into my livingroom on Saturday and use that? I've got a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Though I don't trust myself to do any fancy mods or whatever to my computer without screwing it up.

Jackpot. That will work fine, as long as your Internet is reliably over 2megs and your desktop is decent. Just use these links and you'll be fine:
firstrowsports
live2all
It is imperative that you NOT use Internet Explorer for the game (or ever again, for that matter). Use Google Chrome with an adblocking extension. Ublock Origin is the best one right now. Look around in the Settings menu of Chrome and you'll find the area for Extensions. Seriously, using these websites without an adblocker is not an option. You'll drive yourself mad trying to close all the ads and play the video. Ublock Origin is your best friend.
Remember, HDMI cables carry video and sound. Regular "computer" cables, vga, etc., only carry video - no sound. And so if your desktop does not have an HDMI out, you'll need to connect speakers to the audio out.
And test all this out before gameday. Good luck.

Sorry, one more thing: unless you've got a really good computer and video card, and also have really fast internet, you won't be watching an HD quality stream of the game.
You can find some "medium definition" games and have a perfectly good game experience, but don't expect HD.
Look around the websites for the best streams. In addition to the ones mentioned above, here's a few more:
ShadowNet

Installed Kodi. Plays great...but no sound. Anyone else have that problem?

My first thought is right click on the volume icon, then click on volume control options. Make sure the volume for Kodi is correct. (Can also be found under "mixer")
If you need to start KODI then get to your desktop without closing KODI, use ALT+TAB.
Maybe try this: LINK

For those who have Kodi and want HD streams of games, install the add-on Vidtime: How to add Vidtime to Kodi. You will also need to install Plexus: How to add Plexus to Kodi.
The reason you need to install Plexus in addition to Vidtime, is because certain sections of Vidtime play acestreams, which is like playing a torrent, sort of. If you can ever find acestream links for your games/shows/channels, you can use Plexus to play them (which is located under Programs in Kodi, not Videos, FYI).
However, there is a section of Vidtime called VT SE/Live Lvents, and in there you can find acestream links to live sporting events, and now you can play them through the Plexus acestream player - by simply clicking on the link provided to you by Vidtime/VT SE/Live Events. It's hassle free. No searching around.
Why is this cool? Because the video quality is better than any I've found. Solid 720p links. I'm watching Colorado St lay an egg in excellent quality right now. Just a heads up. Roll Tide.
EDIT: In addition to the info above, Vidtime/VT TV has a crapload of 720p live channels, if you want to find the channel rather than the event.
