I need help in finding a good website to stream the Bama vs USC game. I am currently in Germany and I can foresee having issues with the watch ABC app. Does anyone know how I will be able to watch this beat down?

CBS games will be easy to stream on their website. The ESPN games I use the Watch Espn app.

There are sites you can watch all the games, but I don't recommend going to them without adblocker enabled.

I'm not too sure how the admins feel about posting the urls here, though...

I recommend going to Reddit. Go to it on gameday, and then there's usually a thread with tons of links. Some with ads; some without.

CFB- Reddit

CFB Streams

It has always been the most reliable for me when I'm looking for Raider games.

Honestly, you only have a million choices. The best are:

FirstRowSports

Live2all

goatd

The real motherload: KODI

Kodi, which is the single greatest technological leap forward in a decade or 2 regarding movies, TV, and music, requires add-ons. The add-on you need for sports is SportsDevil. How to install the add-on SportsDevil to Kodi

For any other cord-cutters, KODI is literally all you need to watch/listen to any TV show, any movie, any live TV channel, and song/album ever recorded - and it's free.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to add the best add-ons:
Exodus
cCloud
Specto
Titan
Music Box

There are other good add-ons, but these are the best by far. Seriously, I cannot oversell KODI. It's like if Netflix and Spotify had a baby, and that baby was bitten by a radioactive Spiderman, then they had every tv show, movie, and song of all time, and it is free.

KODI can be installed on all devices except iphones, which is just one more reason iphones are inferior devices. Also, smart TV's are a joke. Just buy a dedicated computer for your normal big-screen and have the entire history of digital media, recorded and live, all for free at your fingertips. Roll Tide.

EDIT: FYI, KODI requires a bit of computing knowledge to set up. So, if any of you are more on the computer illiterate side, get someone to help you. But it's worth the initial set-up time.

Literally. And if you have an android phone, you can finally know that you can watch any football game on your phone if you're stuck somewhere.

I would love to try something like this since I don't have cable anymore, but I'd have to use my SmartTV (Sony) to watch the games.

We always have people over, and saying to come in the game room to watch just wont work.

For all that I know about the internet, I'm really new, and slow, to the ability and knowledge of not paying for shite.

Any other advice when it comes to streaming with the TV? Also, my wife's laptop got wrecked the other day, so no hooking that up.

Championship game had me up drinking until 8:30am and it was still completely dark outside. My language school started at the same time, needless to say I missed it that day. Finnish kids walking to school looked at me like I was crazy drinking a bottle of champagne outside.

I don't know what this Kodi thing is but it sounds amazing. Will check it out. Overseas make sure you have a backup plan if things go down. I had about 4 or 5 stream sites last year because some weeks the games would not be broadcast on certain sites or some would suddenly no longer work.

The only way you can watch the Bama game using only the software on your smart TV is to wait until Tuesday and stream the recorded game from Youtube. Otherwise, you're going to have to think outside the box.

1) If you have a new, fast, Android phone, you can install KODI on it and use it to play the game, and cast the game to your TV using Chromecast, screen mirroring, or the like. (screen mirroring, which your tv probably has, usually has a bit of sound lag)

2) Fix your wife's laptop asap
3) Buy a new laptop
4) Borrow a laptop from someone
5) Buy a laptop from somewhere with a great return policy and return it after the game

6) If the game can be played on another tv in the house (I didn't understand your comment about the "game room"), then go buy a super long cable and connect the smart tv to the other tv source in another room.

Honestly, if you guys are currently a house without a computer, then fix your wife's laptop OR buy a new/used one and solve several problems at once.

Another idea is if you have a gaming system with a web browser, (ps2, ps3, ps4, xbox 360, xbox1, etc), you might be able to use the web browser to navigate to websites that will stream the game (mentioned above). If you have a web browser on your smart TV (doubt it), then the same idea might be possible on your smart tv. However, you're going to have to get really lucky with having the right codecs on the respective device as well as lucky avoided popups messing everything up.

I'm going to have to check into this Kodi thing. I've been cableless for several years. I have a roku on my TV and I have a PC. Between the two, I haven't missed a game yet, but more options is always good.
