As far as scholarship seniors that Bama is losing , I only count 10. (Michael Williams, Jesse Williams, Chance Warmack, Carson Tinker, Damion Square, Jeremy Shelley, Robert Lester, Barrett Jones, Nico Johnson, Quinton Dial). This assumes that Tinker and Shelley were on scholarship, and I am assuming Kelly Johnson remains a walkon.

As far as juniors leaving for the NFL, I have three as likely (D.J. Fluker, Ed Lacy, Dee Milliner).

How do we sign 25 guys if we are only replacing 13 scholarships? (aka as who is being processed?)

We presently have 21 verbal commitments. Are some upperclassmen considering giving up football?

I'm pretty sure Tinker and Johnson were awarded scholarships for this past season. But im not sure about shelley, not that it makes a huge difference in the number crunch.

Some guys like Atchison would be better just to quit.

The numbers situation is never as bad as it appears because the public is not privy to all the information that the coaches have. The coaches are probably already aware of some would-be 5th year seniors who have decided not to return, players with chronic injuries who have decided to give up the game, and players who have decided to transfer for more playing time. There are also at least 3 commitments who are in jeopardy of not qualifying and probably a few others who have agreed to greyshirt if needed.

Never ask about the numbers. It will all work out.

Amazingly, almost all the scholarship juniors have played this year. The only one who didn't participate in a game was William Ming. Chris Bonds only played in two games this year.

Unless CNS is aware of a large group of Present players who wish to transfer, I don't know how Bama signs a class of 25 or more this year.

Did Brandon Hill sign a LOI in 2012 and does he count against the 2012 class, the 2013 class, or both?

Here we go bama fans... We have nine srs I believe, we are two players below the schollie limit, that equals 11 open spots, we have 3 jrs going pro I think, equals 14 open spots. We have three fourth year jrs atleast that will move on I believe, Kellen Williams, Chris bond, and william ming that makes 17 open spots. We will sign at least 25 players LOI's and I believe we have two or three greyshits so that drops us down to really 22/23 recruits entering school when is all said and done. So we will be oversigned by five or six on signing day.... At risk kids in this class Paige, Cook, and stewart. Greyshirts I think are Walker Jones and bradley Bozeman. So we will lose around five to six players between signing dayu and august to be under the limit... Tana Patrick and Johntan Athetheson may move on if they get their degree and I am sure somebody will move on for playing time and grades... We should make it fine, IMO.
Also we could sign 27 players to LOI's but if we can find a few more that might greyshirt but I doubt that happens, but you never know. Also a few kids could find a new home if you know what I mean...
