Clemson should be favored going into this game. I'm actually considering dropping some cash and taking Clemson +6.

Would 31 pts win it?

How will Bama possibly get 31?

Yes

The same way they've scored more than that in almost every game this year.

I think 31 would win it.

Do you really see us moving the ball consistently against this Clemson team? Our QB can't throw the football very well or at least consistently. I think he will improve by next year but unfortunately this defense won't be there.

I've probably been more critical of Hurts than anyone, but our offense has been as good as Clemson's and our defense is considerably better.

I hope y'all are right. I'll be watching and cheering as hard as ever but man our offense has just been abysmal.

What? No they shouldn't and they won't be.

Watson is throwing on average more than 1 INT/game...That equates to six+ versus this defense.

It wasn't great against UW, but the game plan was shite.

We have playmakers all over the field, and I expect Sark to have a good game plan.

Likely the same way they've done it in all but three of their fourteen games thus far this season.

31 should do it unless we turn the ball over multiple times on our end.

I think anything over 21 will win it. I believe in this defense. The defense might help the offense get the 21 plus.

We've moved the ball on good defenses all year. We've scored 24+ points in every game sans LSU this year.

Clemson has a good but not elite defense. Check their game log.

It is also interesting that before this game Washington was 2nd in the country in PPG with 44.8. Just held them to 7. We also held the number one scoring team, Western Kentucky which is at 45.5 to 10. Obviously it is Western Kentucky, but still. Our D can shut down offenses. We may have fixed the problems that were present in the Ole Miss game and our adjustments have been on point from the first drive on outside of every game besides that one.

Clemson is 13th in the country right now. We have scored one point less than Clemson this year total.

It really depends what kind of game is happening. If we are going to go into a shootout like we did last year vs. Clemson, we may lose. But if we play our game and rely heavily on our D, I don't believe we lose.

And we won't be giving Watson all day to make plays like we did last year. #teampruitt

I honestly believe that we can shut them down. Look, Clemson at it's peak performance is one helluva football team. But they haven't come close to playing that way all season, and they certainly have not done it two games in a row.

Look at some of these offensive outputs

Auburn - 399 yards, 5.12 YPP, 19 points
Troy - 414 yards, 4.87 YPP, 30 points
NC State - 495 yards, 5.44 YPP, 17 points regulation

Hell, even against Ohio State they only had 5.53 YPP. They just got to run 85 frickin plays because Ohio State's offense looked like Shula/Spencer Pennington era.

Now, they've been pretty good on offense lately, but they still average around 6 YPP and 482 YPG vs winning P5 teams. We are not an average P5 defense.

One thing I think people are overlooking this time is what Kirby did vs what Pruitt will do. Clemson was great, but I feel like Kirby made it easy for them. Pruitt and the defense will make it REALLY tough on Clemson's offense.

The only thing that really scares me about the game is the groove that Clemson might be in. We've seen it with teams over the years. OSU in 2014 is a great example. Alabama against UF in 2009 and 2011 vs LSU. Sometimes teams hit it and literally can't be stopped.
