Cristobal is being mentioned as a possibility should Miami fire Golden. Kirby Smart has always been somewhere on USCe's hypothetical hot board. If CKS left, would Scott Cochran go with him? Would Cristobal take anyone with him?

Kiffin also seems like a possibility to leave after this year.

Cristobal to Miami would be addition by subtraction.

Depends on if you like having Calvin Ridley and Minkah Fitzpatrick type players on the team. Cristobal was lead recruiter for both.

NS on the weekly post game show featured Mario as the coach and was very complimentary of his work at Alabama. You arm chair chit heads need to back off thinking he is a problem. He is an excellent recruiter and is bringing in top notch kids from S. Florida.

I'm hoping to a certain point they have an "established" line to Miami post Cristobal, as Bama should be pillaging WRs there for a few more seasons.

I think Cristobal needs to be a HC, hell, he should still be one at FIU. Their AD was so over reactionary after Mario essentially performed miracles there.

I think Bama loses 2-3, at least 1 coordinator IMO. Don't think either take any positional assistants with them, depends on how Bama goes about replacing them. Will Napier or Davis get a promotion, or will they get passed over? Hard to say they aren't some level of deserving.

Now a lot of those "hidden" coaches under the guise of analyst,GAs, and directors I can see being taken a handful at a time...

One can only hope that Bobby would get a job somewhere else...

I have nightmares that Saban becomes AD and puts him in as Head Coach.

Somehow, someway, Bobby will be the last UA coach standing.

I am certain Napier will get a very hard look at OC. He had at least one very successful season at Clemson as OC, so it would make sense.

I don't know much about Bo Davis other than he creates monsters on the defensive line. It doesn't look like he has much in the way of experience at anything other than defensive line. I think he will not get promoted.

Reason I brought up Davis is a simple one, when is it time for him to get a look?

He is a Saban tree grown coach, he's been with him everywhere. While he has no experience as a DC, neither did Kirby Smart when he was hired. And as much credit as Saban gets as the man behind the defense, Davis wouldn't be saddled with everything.

Saban could take the same approach he did with Smart, hire a veteran guy like Kevin Steele and have them share the DC spot until he's ready to take the training wheels off...

And if Napier does get an OC job, at Bama or otherwise, can they go throw money at Tee Martin or Mike Locklsey?

And Brent Key if Cristobal goes to Miami and O'Leary and his staff gets ousted at UCF...

I see major overhaul. It's just time. Several will see promotions elsewhere.

I just want to see Davis, Lupoi, and Tucker stay on defense. Major overhaul on offense. Maybe Billy Napier to OC. New WR, OL, and TE coaches.

Have to keep Cochran, even though he is close with the Smart family.

Smart and Cristobal to head coaching positions seems likely to me. Bobby Williams finally reassigned off the field.

If we lose kirby somewhere, does mel tucker step in as dc? The way the d had played this year in can see smart being a hot name again. As for christobal, his recruiting is fantastic, his olines have been soft. I cant tell which outweighs the other. If he leaves (which is s real possibility) i hope we get someone who can install some mean back into the line.
