How about that defense?

Sure. It was UL-Monroe. But those guys came to play today. I don't care who you are playing, it's very difficult to hold an opponent to under 100 yards total offense. And yet these guys held UL-Monroe to just 92 yards with a mere 9 yards rushing.

The defense might just be piquing at the right time. If they can maintain that intensity over the next few weeks, there is a chance we might run the table into the LSU game.

LSU doesn't scare me. At all. They have one player.

Syracuse playing with a 5th string QB almost had them. If that damn kicker hadn't Griffith'd it up on the 31 yard attempt to close out the first half we might be talking about them losing tonight.

LSU doesn't scare me at present because they play right into the strength of our defense. They run a very traditional offensive attack that a defense like ours will freaking thrive on. If you stop Fournette (easier said than done), you stop their offense.

Les Miles, however, has given us trouble over the years. This game will be close like it always is.

Yeah at this point the A&M game and that wide open offense is the only game left I'm really worried about. Though we have played like shite in Starkville lately. Georgia has the talent to beat Bama, but it is rare to have success running on Bama and while Lambert is hot he hasn't been playing Alabama.

This defense will give us a chance in every game we play. It was nice to see Williams and Evans making plays. Evans looks faster than some DB's.

I agree that LSU is superbly overrated, but don't take a shot at Griffith. He had a really good game yesterday and deserves praise. If he starts missing again he deserves criticism, but don't hold his past against him. He's never lost a game for us.

He deserves it for his poor performance.
