Needs to be dealt with then.
Instead of trying to be correct with a story, journalists now want to just be the first to report it.

They go with what they are fed by sources. I don't blame the reporter. I blame the editor for agreeing to let it be published in print or online. The desire to be "first" has supplanted the desire to be "right".
I will say though, I have a buddy who works for Fox and he said a colleague of his at Fox Sports West said the Kiffin contract had been agreed to by both parties and needed President approval. Text him when the news broke and he said the President didn't want Kiffin and wanted to stay with someone with Texas ties is the word.
So Wolken was right when he posted that info, but the info changed.
