City Cafe, Nicks in the Sticks, sneak into the "old Bryce", bed a lady at the boat launch on Lake Tuscaloosa by the spillover, get a softdrink with Corner Store ice, bed a lady in Tutwiler, break into Bryant Denny, check out neat natural history shite in Smith Hall, get head in the bathroom at Gallettes...

I'll add as I think of 'em.

Cant do that anymore. They patrol that area heavily now and you cant even get near the cliffs. When I first got here you could go around and jump off them and they would pull up in a boat and tell you that there was no swimming. Now, you cant even be there.

First of all, congrats. I'll be joining you as an alumnus in December

Is going to the concert at the Amp even possible at this point? I recommend it. My sister made me go to the Train concert with her and I loved it (not the concert). The venue is fantastic.

Cahaba? I'd skip it. It's a glorified creek and full of trash.

DePalma's is good for being an italian restaurant in Tuscaloosa, but that's because it's the really only one.

Dreamland: Archibald's is better, BUT it's something you have to do.

Kozy's: is it not closed?

I've really never done a lot of that myself, and I've been coming here for years.

So, the only thing I'd do if you get the chance is go to the Amphitheater and Dreamland

If you have a gf/frick buddy try to bang somewhere on campus.

Go to Nics in the Sticks, and get a Nicademus along with a bacon wrapped steak.

Old Bryce

As another poster stated sneak into BDS. They leave some of those gates open during the day sometimes.

Not a bucket list item, but one thing I really miss is doing some day drinking on the porch of the Tooth,Phils etc.

Man I miss Ttown....

They're doing construction on BDS, so it shouldn't be that hard to get in. The North gates are pretty much open right now

True, the Cahaba sucks, but floating down the river for a few hours just pounding beers and acting a fool is fun. I did 4 times my first summer here while rushing fraternities and I always had a blast. Especially if there are girls with you. I did it one time with some HS buddies and it was just as fun.

They're open a lot. I would just walk in after class, and walk around while acting like I'm suppose to be there.

What construction are they doing?

Definitely need to add Summer Snow to that list before you leave (best snow cones on the planet)

Play a round of gold at Ol' Colony.
Cliff diving at Lake Nichol.

River walk leads u under the McFarland overpass bridge... keep going, the old Tuscaloosa waterworks is cool.

Also, Moundville headed way down 69 south.

Idk if bulldog bend canoe/intertube river is in Tusc county, but that's fun.

Bama Belle boat is supposed to be "cool."

Sokol park mountain bike trails

Lake Harris (down past yacht club, you will have to get a person that knows it to take you.) it's a good hike but maybe the most beautiful land in Tusc. Huge rocks to walk down past the waterfall and a swimming hole. THIS IS A MUST DO for sure. Go to Yacht club, road T's. Take a right. Past that, you'll need a friend that lives here to help u find that.

Hell, just seeing all of the NR Yacht Club is worth your time.

Cypress Inn is a biggie on most people's lists... not to me.

There's a lock and dam, not sure what number... but you go down 15th street until you are around or past Stillman college. That is a damn impressive sight, to me.

Kozy's is a must. Think u may have mentioned that one.

Cliffs to jump at lake Nichol.

And I'm out of time! Good luck. Man, I really appreciate these types of sentiments btw. Lived here since I was born!
