Heard something very disturbing tonight

I was at the game walking around looking for some cotton candy for my girlfriend at halftime. As I was walking by a group of guys I over heard them talking about Derrick Henry. This is what I heard, "Henry told him if you don't play me I am transferring to Florida State. He told him that he shouldn't worry....." I didn't want to just stop and eavesdrop on the conversation but I was like FAWK. Then I turned the corner and saw Hootie and a few more guys I didn't recognize. I was a weird few seconds with a strange range of emotions.

I don't believe any of the first part. Not one word of it and think it needs to be removed. Spreading rumors from people you don't even know is not a good idea. You need to delete this Monty.

I doubt those guys have a clue. I don't think Saban would react that way. Henry most likely would have been processed.

With the climate of recruiting being what it is and players obviously being pissed it just sounded so legit to me. Could this guy just be passing on a rumor, possibly but there is obviously something wrong. I'm just glad he got touches in the Sugar Bowl

He wouldn't have been played AT ALL and then immediately we would've heard about his transfer after the BG
In all his interviews I take him at his word that he had issues understanding the PB and reads and the game slowed down for him and he grew as a player etc during the BG preparation

like i said Bucc, I overheard this. I really wanted insight from someone like yourself that would have a better perspective and maybe alot more info of what went on if any of it were true.

I never have the scoop - but I do here. You got it mostly right, but Henry was telling Saban what Kamara said. They both had a good laugh.

i would say the likelihood that you misheard or misunderstood what was said is much higher than the possibility that derrick henry ever said anything like that. would be totally out of character from every other public statement he has ever made, plus if he had said that he would be off the team already

Wouldn't be surprised if he voiced his concerns over playing time and lobbied the coaches for more.
Demanded though? Who knows.
Either way, it worked out for the best. Maybe it will serve as an impetus to give more young players a shot.
