Alabama, and the SEC for that matter, was unable to keep Oklahoma, who went nearly wire-to-wire #1 throughout the season, from winning the Sooner's second national title.

Alabama was however, able to rebound from a string of un-Bama like losses to make it to the national title meet and finish in the top 4, which they've done every year since 2009.

in 2017, Alabama will welcome in a massively talented class, which is headlined by U.S. National Team member, Maddie Desch.

Oh, Alabama doesn't return to Tuscaloosa empty handed, Katie Bailey won an Individual National Championship on the vault.

How about the amazing job Coach Duckworth is doing? It's obviously never easy to be the next coach after a legend but she is doing one hell of a job. Two top 5 finishes in her first two years? That's amazing. Yeah Coach Patterson brought in the talent but not everyone can coach at an elite level. Especially considering how tough the SEC is now.

Saturday night was exciting for sure. But, when Oklahoma finished the beam with a combined 49.425 it was clear who the winner would be.
