hope y'all beat the spear off them

doesn't mean I won't give you hell on tRant if you lose - but good luck & I'm pulling for the Tide!

UAB - any Bham guys (or anybody) here happy about the Blazers 1st season back?

They sent players, coaches & cheerleaders to my son's elementary school & gave every kid a FREE ticket & the boy wants to go

so I will be watching MI vs FL on my iphone...

good news for me? the boy WILL want to leave early

I'm fortunate to know a guy that is booster & alum - have a sweet tailgate to go to

Not a Bham guy, but I'm excited for their return. I like Bill Clark and definitely think he has them in the right direction. Plus we could see the city finally go with the plans to renovate the BJCC that includes an open air stadium if UAB is competitive.

I'm glad they're back. It gives opportunities to young men across Alabama. As long as they don't get another dumbass administrator who takes shots at UA athletics, I'll route for them.

Hopefully they get a new stadium and become a solid CUSA team.

awbarn people love UAB, but for some reason AUM doesn't have a football team, and their B-Ball team isn't Div 1.

Why aren't they pushing for these changes at AUM?

I am a UAB Alum (yep, I am a sidewalk Bama fan) and I am happy for UAB Football to return. There are a lot of good people involved in that program and perhaps for the first time ever, the university is behind them.
