Gameday Rituals

Whether it's a certain drink, hat, food, tailgating spot, a whole routine, certain spot on the couch you have to sit, other superstitions, etc. Let's hear em.
For me, if we're the home team, I wear a crimson Bama shirt. If we're the away team, I wear a white Bama shirt.
Also, if we lose, I won't wear the shirt again for a game. Usually because I've destroyed it at the end of the unvictorious 4th quarter. Actually, I've ripped off a shirt and burned it mid-game, replacing it with a shirt that I feel is luckier.

Usually get a burger from Backyard Burger, or make a pot of chilli. Thankfully, not much else.
1st, because I was running late to a party to watch the Clemson game in 2008, grabbed a burger from there, and then the game happened. It's been pretty good since.

I always try to find a new shaker after the first game. I bring the same shaker to every game until our first loss. I then throw it on the ground since it's now cursed. I have to wait until the next game to get a new shaker since all the ones left after the loss are cursed too. After the National Championship game I retire the shaker, and frame it.

I'm not superstitious so I don't do anything for the purpose of bringing luck.
I generally hang my Bama flag at around sunrise on game day and then we go to an early breakfast. During the day before the Bama game, I mix in household chores with watching other games.
Each season, I try to have the same snack all season long during the game. Last year, it was sunflower seeds. Year before, it rootbeer floats. Boiled peanuts one year. This year, I plan to have orange floats. No, I don't like teams that wear orange but I do like orange floats with Blue Bell Homemade vanilla ice cream.
I don't wear Bama gear during the day unless I'm watching the game outside the house.

I usually don't really do anything special. Home games usually consist of an adderall in the morning mixed with a nice amount of whiskey.
Last year I did wear my Trent Richardson jersey during every game, but forgot to wash it before the A&M game. I made sure to wear it every game after that. Sorry for causing the loss guys.

Meh. It was the 2010 IB, so I'm not even embarrassed. Feel like I held it together pretty well for the circumstances.

Before the big games, or any sec game I always have sex before the game to relax. And if the girlfriend is raggin or not around, I whack off.

For away games that I don't attend, there is a spot at the Houndstooth where I stand all game.
Don't get in my spot, I'm undefeated in that spot.

I take a shot of makers when I wake up. Dead serious. Every gameday.

This is for 2:30 or late games.
7:30am - Wake up, beer, shower, get ready.
9am - Houndstooth for Bloody Marys
11am - Gallettes for Yellow Hammers
12 - Back to the tailgate for more drinking and wimmenz until game
That was my routine while I was at UA. Next year I'll post my new rituals.

Back in the pre-Saban years, we'd wait until after each loss, pick something that we did that day that might have been bad luck and say "Well, we won't frickin' do that again!!"
