Game Day traffic in Tuscaloosa advice

Just a heads up for the out of towners heading to Tuscaloosa for the game tomorrow, and for at least the next few weeks:

Some road construction is ongoing.

1. The widening of I 20/59 east of Tuscaloosa around MM 76 to 81. Still two lanes East and West, but it's narrow and the Speed limit is 45. Expect delays. Also the westbound entrance to I 59 at Exit 79 is closed. You can still exit off the interstate at exit 79 ( This is the same as the last couple of years and at the rate they are going, expect it for another year or so.)

2. McFarland Blvd. Just north of the interstate, and for just a few blocks, they are adding some turn lanes, etc. But for now, the normally 3 lane wide road is down to two. Both directions. Expect massive delays.
