While the Titans are a dumpster fire, it gives him his first break in the NFL. The fact that he jumped tells me he doesn't want to be a college coach.
You can still be a good assistant on a bad coaching staff, which leads to more jobs. As long as he himself is a good coach, he'll get better jobs.
