Reportedly a suicide. I remember he was involved in the lawsuit against the NFL a few years ago. Sad story.

Very strange. Guy had a lot going for him. Successful business, great family, etc.

Used to eat at Benny's Bbq place for a while a few years back. Met some former players from the area there. Benny would only show once in a blue moon. Hard to say what he might have been struggling with.
