Fall Camp is, what, a month away? Any word on Rashaan Evans' position?

I know during the Spring we played him at Will, of course we have a good experienced player in SDH coming back next to Reuben. Are we expecting Evans to just be a swiss army knife at LB? Play some inside snaps, rush from the edge, spy standing up, etc?

I think he is going to play inside and outside, depending on the situation

I'm guessing he'll play both...probably not start at either but play as much as the starters. He'll probably be first off the bench at both OLB and ILB...rotating with SDH in the middle and Anderson and Williams on the outside...he will probably be our #1 spy when we're playing against a mobile QB...

Will probably depend on the teams Bama plays. Against Ole Miss, A&M and Auburn he will be playing a lot on the inside, against more traditional offenses he will probably play on the outside on passing downs.

Will play both ILB and OLB depending upon formation and team. He will make full move to ILB after this year.

I'm not sure if he will move inside fully next year. We have two five star freshmen that should get time on the inside this year. Evans may take over for Tim Williams next year.

I could easily see Evans at WILB next to Ben Davis next season.

I think you guys are selling him short. Not sure whether he starts or not, but he will get more snaps than any other LB on the field. He is a straight out BALLER who MAKES things happen.

At least that is the way I see it. You have to have him on the field, regardless of the capacity you have him ILB/OLB. If a ball gets tipped, who do you see grabbing it and taking it to the house? I thought so......

I don't think he will get more snaps then Foster, Foster won't leave the field on D if the game is still in doubt.

with his speed I see Foster playing all snaps unless he needs a blow.

Yeah, Foster is a very fast young man for a 250 pounder. Easy bet to lead the team in tackles.

He had 17 tackles in the spring game. Evidently he played every position on defense.
