Another poster on BOL said he is gone and the decision was made before the CFP. So who knows. I could see Bobby wanting him to stay and get that degree though

Another year would help Marlon from a being a better player stand point, but he's going in the first round. He's a 6'1" corner that'll run a low 4.4 and isn't as bad as we make him out to be. With Allen last year there was a chance he fell to the second. That's not the case with Marlon, so I don't see any way he comes back.

If anyone watches his tape, Marlon will fall out of the 1st round. I know he has the measurables, but he wasn't a shut down corner. I remember Dee Milliner and Dre Kirkpatrick shutting people down their last years playing.
Marlon wasn't near their caliber, he could be with another year of experience. He has only played two years, unlike Dee and Dre.

You're right, but he'll do great at the combine with his measurables and that's far and away the main thing NFL scouts care about. It's stupid and probably accounts for some of their busts, but they care more about your vertical and 40 on one day than what you did over the course of your career.
