Do you think Lane will leave after the season?

I didn't think it would ever be possible but I kind of like the guy now. Would love to see him keep working with the young QBs.

Why would it be a done deal? I haven't seen anywhere that he has been fired.

It just seems like the perception is he will leave after the year. Have not heard his name mentioned either but the NFL openings won't start til later in January.

It looks like to me that Lane is exactly where he wants to be right now. I can't really see him leaving just yet.

I think it would be a lot better for Lane to continue coaching under Saban for a few years before going out on his own again. I think it does him good!

I have said it for a long time...Lane needs to settle the frick down and work for Saban for awhile.

I think he's staying next year. Not very much smoke around him leaving.

Although, he could be waiting to get back into the NFL. Who knows.

"No news is good news" He has grown on me. When my Students asked for a picture with him Saturday he was more than glad to do it. I think his reputation may have gotten away from him.

I think Lane is truly happy where he is right now. I think he loves rubbing elbows with saban. I think he's actually having fun doing so.

Lane and Saban are supposedly going on an in-home visit with Shea Patterson this week. I think signs are pointing to him returning for another year.

Looking more and more like he is staying unless a monster offer comes his way from the NFL.

I like it. Arians is a great guy to learn offense under.

I don't get all the LK hate. He's done a very good job with two very average QB's, and even turned Blake into a record setter.

I don't agree with every call he makes, but over all has done an excellent job.

I'm kind of leaning toward hoping he stays. He can be frustrating at times as a play-caller, but he's worked borderline miracles with our QB situation the last 2 years. Would like to see what he can do with Barnett for at least 1 season.
