Griffith will be a RS JR next season and we could either RS him or use him if Griffith sucks. Not guaranteed he will be any better given our luck and development of kickers.

Also think we need to hire on a former kicker or qualified kicking coach that coaches long snapper, punter, place kicker, kick off guy, as well as coverage schemes and onsides/squib/pooch kicks.

Bobby Williams needs to stay on as a paper pusher or gtfo and let Napier get a hold of the TEs half practice and cristobal get them the other half.

Griffith has a back injury IIRC. He has a heating pad throughout the game applied to it. Give him time to let it heal.

That being said, if it's a chronic issue then yes, we need to find a possible replacement.

I doubt it. CNS seems to really like Griffith and have a lot of confidence in him. Seems to me we rarely overlap on scholarship kickers. Griffith was an exception because the staff felt Griffith was worth making an exception for.

I hope we sign about 5 of them, maybe one will end up being an SEC level kicker. Haven't had one of those since Tiffin left years ago. Bloody shameful if you ask me....40k students and a recruiting machine and most D2 schools have better kickers, it would almost be funny if it wasn't so flippin unbelievable.

Griffith is a great kicker. CNS says he is fighting a back injury. Back injuries are the absolute worst type of injury for GOLFERS and PLACE KICKERS. Sad but true. I support Adam but we must have a plan. (JK Scott?)

with that being said why the F did he even use him in the AU game on that first kick. Our punter is doing ok with the long kicks. Just save him for FG's and use the other kid for extra points. There is no reason Adam should hae been kicking off in the SECCG if he had back issues.

I wish they would let JK Scott kick field goals.

Because they called an onsides kick and he's probably practiced that a lot more than our punter. Saban probably felt griffith could kick the ball 10 yards even with the bad back.
