Happy for both of them. Most guys would've transferred.

So I guess he's not going to be the long range FG kicker

Yep - really pulling for those two this year, especially Foster

Diggs at corner worries me. Usually go through some growing pains your first year starting at CB.

Diggs is a baller. I can't wait to see him out there. He might take a few on the chin, but it will be fun watching him develop. Guy is a true competitor.

Scout team. No that is not a joke. He was reportedly helping on Scout team when we started FSU prep.

Ben Davis, as I understood it, moved from ILB to OLB, and may be being groomed to become a pass rusher. But no matter the position, he's buried on the depth chart.

I wouldn't be positive of that. Depends how the performance goes.

Hmm, that kind of concerns me.

This is "co-starter" designation correct? Will be interesting to see which of these two ends up being the go to guy at this spot. Senior and a True Freshman.

I'd venture to guess Sims will get the start, but if he doesn't perform Jeudy will get a shot.

Something like that. I think Jeudy will be given the opportunity to shine on the big stage. If it isn't too big for him then he will take the spot and never look back. Can't wait to see this kid.

About Ben Davis, only at Alabama does the former #1 rated inside linebacker redshirt as a freshman and not even crack the 2 deep as a sophomore. You know Dylan Moses is one reason he moved to OLB. Mack had something to do with it too.

Looks like Wills still may earn the start by the end of the week.

Sims' blocking is crucial to him landing the co-starter designation. Slot is where Bama prioritizes that ability as an asset to the run game.

A lot of blocks thrown at the spot have opened up some big runs the last few years...

It shouldn't. It's his second year, and at a position we've recruited insanely at lately. There's literally nothing abnormal going on.

We've had more than a few LBs not really contribute until their third year. And still become prominent players that are drafted high. Ben Davis has plenty of time to make a mark.
