As this whole QB ordeal started to develop I started to like the fact the either bad or good all of our QBs have similar potential in the eyes of the Coaches.

I'm just saying the 1st 3 QBs are listed on one line indicating first string. The last 2 are on the 2nd line indicating 2nd string.

@BW_Jones: Alabama's depth chart lists Coker/Bateman/Morris as starting QB: LINK

So our base package has three all out beasts on the line with Payne likely the strongest one. Can't double team all of em. Damn!

When I saw Hand as this string, I thought, WTF? Then I realized so was Dj Pettway

WR: Robert Foster OR Calvin Ridley

Both are insanely talented, Ridley getting an OR is nice to see.

TE: O.J. Howard OR Ty Flournoy-Smith

I've thought TFS has a lot of talent for a while now. I think we have two potentially good, athletic TEs.

DE: A’Shawn Robinson, Jonathan Allen, D.J. Pettway
NG: Darren Lake OR Daron Payne
DE: Jarran Reed, Dalvin Tomlinson, Da’Shawn Hand

Stacked. As. frick. Kinda thought Lake MIGHT be the starter while Allen is listed second string. I'm sure that's the case against a good number of teams, but the more spread offenses will see Allen as a starter.

OLB: Dillon Lee, Rashaan Evans, Christian Miller
MLB: Reggie Ragland, Shaun Dion Hamilton, Walker Jones/Adonis Thomas
MLB: Reuben Foster, Keith Holcombe
OLB: Denzel Devall, Ryan Anderson, Tim Williams

Stacked. As. frick. Evans, Anderson, Miller, and Williams could all be damn good pass rushers.

CB: Marlon Humphrey, Tony Brown OR Minkah Fitzpatrick
Star: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Tony Brown, Maurice Smith

Minkah Fitzmagic is gonna be great. TB still right there though, ready to come in if needed.

S: Eddie Jackson, Ronnie Harrison, Shawn Burgess-Becker
S: Geno Smith, Jabriel Washington, Hootie Jones

I guess this sorts out the Safety deal. Even though sometimes (Barron/Lester for example) the FS and SS aren't too different for us, Eddie is the FS, Geno is the SS. I like that. I like Jackson's range deep and I think Geno is best used in coverage near the LOS.

I would totally flip out if Saban played all 5 QBs.

Oh, you should add that Kenyan Drake is returning Kickoffs.

I am struggling to see the confusion where people still think it's a 5 man QB race. The depth chart had the first 3 as OR and then the last 2 with an OR between only those 2. Even saw ESPN release a photo that had ORs between them all signifying a 5 man race. It's not.

Edit: replied to the wrong post, but you see my point.

It was accidentally listed as all five on the first line somewhere (AL.com maybe) and then that took off.

It made me laugh when I read it. I thought it was an awesome troll job by Saban.
