Damien Harris with the quietest 1,000 yard season in memory?

Just looking at the numbers and saw he was at 983. I think it's safe to assume he will get 17 yards in the next game.
He's had a good year. All three of those backs have had their moments, and I think yesterday may have been the first time this season they were all healthy, or at least the first time since very early.

He was dinged-up for about 1/4 of the year too.

He and Jacobs are excellent backs. They both have been terribly under used. Bama has great skill players at wr te and rb yet the season has been about showcasing an underwhelming qb.
Bo has really imprroved since beginning of the year also. Jacobs and Harris are both special talents. Its fun to watch them run.

The running game hasn't been the problem this year. The willingness to use it is what has driven everyone nuts.
Harris may have the best vision of any back I've seen in some time. Jacobs hits the hole full speed EVERY time. Bo is gaining more and more confidence in his surgically repaired knees and ball issues.
Once Bo realizes how good he can be if he just trusts his instincts and lowers his head he's going to be a flat out monster. Once he gets to the 2nd level he's hard to bring down.

Not everyone.

We're 13&0 and just won another SEC title, but honestly, I sometimes think we'd be better still running out of the pro set, let the running backs run the ball, and efficiently utilize the wide receivers including intermediate and downfield routes. Course, this offense we're running is one that better suits Hurts, and he has been effective running the ball, and been proficient enough managing the offense.
I think even Gary Danielson questions whether it's a better offense for Alabama, and he's a fairly astute football guy.

I think the main reason we don't line up under center mire us our QB can't throw the ball out if it yet. He really struggles finding open receivers when he turns his back to the degrade in play action. Our OL and RBs thrive when we are under center Ace formations. We look great when we just line up and run it. We might do more of it in the playoffs....If our QB can make some strides in or practice to be able to execute in the passing game.

Having said all that I am definitely yelling at Kiffin to run the damn ball throughout games. Folks just don't seem to be able to stop it.

I am just happy his head is still attached to his body

That was the worst facemask that I've seen in a long time.

The 2015 and 2016 OLs are the worst we've had since 2007.

It still baffles me that last year's O-line won that award. Weren't we in the bottom quarter of the FBS for negative plays?

Best pair of tackles we've had under Saban, and center has been solid since Bozeman took over. I think this has been a really good OL. I think it took about a month to get going with the shifting at center especially.

The 2016 OL is not even close to being as bad as the 2015 OL

All three of our backs could be 1500 yard rushers if they weren't splitting carries between them and Hurts.
Damn we are truly deep at RB and offensively period.

Agreed. But 2016 isn't as good, IMO, as 2008-2014. But your right...Jackson was just plain bad. I think Cam Robinson has been great at times but inconsistent, and way too many penalties.

2013 was worse than this year and last year IMO
