Anyone that knows could help me out. Anyway, what is the buzz or is there any talk about the following players:

OJ Smith
Josh Frazier
Raekwon Davis
Jamar King
Johnny Dwight.

We haven't rotated as much this year I think. Is there anything out there about these guys? Do you remember anything from fall practice? Thank you and if I should have asked in the pinned practice thread I apologize.

I'm not Boz but I did sneak a free continental breakfast at the Holiday Inn next to my work this morning.

He's said that Dwight is unlikely to be a major contributor (I niced-up the description).

Have to imagine OJ falls in the same category.

Jamar is close to my age and appears to be only playing so he can't redshirt (like his moxie though).

Reakwon has a lot of potential but is a work in progress.

Josh seems to be coming around. We may regret not redshirting him earlier in his career.

QW appears to be redshirting but may end up being more of a contributor than anyone listed.

Definitely could use a solid DL recruiting class this year but the staff doesn't seem to be too concerned and they know even more than me.

Thanks. We really need a few dlinemen in this class and it may bite us in the arse because it doesn't look good right now.

Why I think someone like M Wilson would like out depth chart. He would have a shot to contribute early. Most recruiting experts seem to think we are watching JUCO ranks this fall because the lack of quality DL especially at the DT position and those was being talked about before the summer. I would not be surprised to hear a JUCO name to pop up in the next few weeks

To make it short they all need time or more time. Josh Frazier is almost there. King is a good talent but needs to clean up a few areas.

Since we most likely won't be signing a talent like Allen or Payne this year and we didn't get it done last year our best scenario is for some guys I listed to step up and at least eat blocks so that our linebackers can make a bigger impact on the game. I am talking about the front seven for next year. We may be see some shootouts.

Payne will be on the 2017 Alabama football team.

Yes he will thank God. But we need a couple of big guys behind him to step up and the guys we have on roster haven't done it. I have hopes with Davis but we don't know yet.

Losing Jon Allen is huge. Tomlinson gone is huge. That leaves us with Hand and little else. I am enjoying this year but really worry about the dline moving forward.

Definitely, I was thinking the other day about how there will likely never be(and never has been) a more talented Alabama Dline than there was in 2015.

We are spoiled right now, and like you said, we need to enjoy it.

FWIW Jon Allen has been trying to impart as much knowledge on King during practices as possible. Dont think Allen would be taking the time to do that unless there was something there, but then again Jon Allen is a cool dude so who knows.
