He's the highest rated rookie in Madden 16 with an 82 Overall.

Really? That's awesome but surprising because I watched a video yesterday of rookies seeing their Madden ranking and there were several that predicted higher rankings for themselves than Cooper and several that seemed happier than Cooper when their rankings were revealed. Of course, it's not really Cooper's style to get really animated about something like a Madden score. The only thing he said was, "it'll go up"

Every year the offseason brings us fake-life updates when college players matriculate to the NFL through the draft through the magic of Madden rookie ratings. This year the top-ranked rookie? Raiders wideout Amari Cooper.

The young man wasn't even that happy with his rating (82 overall), which caused him to remark in the video below, "That'll go up."

Cooper is followed in the overall ratings by Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston (81 overall), Rams running back Todd Gurley (80), Jets DL Leonard Williams (80), Redskins lineman Brandon Scherff (80), Jaguars defensive lineman Dante Fowler (79), Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (79), Bears wideout Kevin White (79), Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota (78) and Falcons pass rusher Vic Beasley (77).

I just talked to him about an hour ago. Told him that I was unsure when I was going to take him in my fantasy football draft. If he is there in the 4th I will take him

Where is he falling on the preseason fantasy WR lists? I haven't started looking yet. I would guess he'd be a good draft pick for a WR2-3 maybe?
