I understand the nature of the business. They're going to be wrong a ton and a ton of it is about entertainment anyways, no so much accuracy. But it would be really, really great if these guys would address some of these idiotic claims after whiffing so hard.

As annoying as DK can be, at least he can laugh at himself and give credit. I have no idea how some of these guys completely ignore how wrong they are sometimes.

God fricking dammit why does he go full retard so often? I think it annoys be because I like his show at times.

He's talking about PSU like they're on their way back to domination. They suck SO much.

I haven't even made it to the part you linked the video for

In one video, he's begging people not to overreact, claiming the BIG is on its way to being God-like(Mike Riley being part of the explanation for this), and says Alabama is done. What in the absolute shite???

Idiots like them go out of their way to jump the shark on all of these predictions. It's like they have to be the first guy right about something regardless of how over the top/unrealistic it is. I used to like a few of them because they didn't shy away from certain topics and gave honest opinions. Then they went for shock value and now they can eat a bag of muddy dicks

Yeah. I commented on that underneath the video. And he made those comments BEFORE Alabama's loss to Ole Miss, too. Cowherd has experienced so much fail when it comes to his opinion on the state of the Alabama Football program over the last two years.

Yep, Cowherd ruined himself for me.

If I want to hear "hot takes" I can listen to dumbass fans from other teams.

Have y'all seen his interview with Bill Burr yet? I'll link it later today(I'm on my phone). Not only is it hilarious, he makes Collin look and feel like a fool...multiple times.

Clay Travis has made a living trying to be the guy who was "first" to predict something. Listen to some of his "takes." The guy is wrong all the time yet he makes 6-7 figures doing that for a living. 10 years ago, he was an attorney who had a humor column about SEC Football. Now he's one of the top "analysts" on Fox Sports. He really has no special knowledge or education that makes him more qualified to give an opinion. Its amazing but he's not the only one. They just move right along and never acknowledge how wrong their "takes" are. I really believe that your average sports fan knows as much as Cowherd, Travis, etc. Hell, Finebaum really isn't good or knowledgeable when you really listen to him. I watched some clip from Fox Sports from last year following the title game and one of their highly paid analysts predicted Arizona State to be in the playoff. Overall the college football media are a bunch of jokes. Makes you appreciate guys like Herbstreit and Rece Davis.

But let's be honest though, Alabama fans make it easy for them. They know what brings in the clicks and bashing Alabama/Saban will do just that.

These videos make me hard. Cowherd is that a-hole at the grocery store with 20 items in the 10 or less line that you want to physically assault but let slide because you know he probably has Downs.

The people you see and hear on tv and radio are not "experts"

If they were experts they'd be on coaching staffs or professional sports handicappers.

They are paid entertainers, their goal is to generate buzz and ratings.

I heard Klatt on the radio a month or so ago and he was pretty upfront and humble about it. Said he was completely wrong, and it wasn't the first time he'd been wrong, nor would it be the last.

I honestly had never heard of the guy until his comments after the Ole Miss game.

Not sure who ever told Travis he was funny, but that person needs to be punched in the face. Unless you still think 7th grade humor based on degrading another person's looks is funny.

The sad thing is Travis is actually a good writer and an intelligent person. Not sure why he feels he has to engage in such adolescent behavior. The worst is when someone calls him out on it on Twitter and all his sycophants run to his defense.
