What do we do about this. We need to develop a greater passing threat, I'm just unsure how we go about this so late in the season.

if we can score TD's in the red zone by running then I am ok. The OL seems to be peaking. He did not have to stretch the field and go deep. It is hard to throw TD's in the red zone as the field has shrunk. NS was content to run smash mouth and will probably be our MO in the next two SEC games

we do nothing. throwing touchdowns is meaningless as long as you are scoring. He is playing great, doing exactly what we need from him, minimizing mistakes and making plays when we need them. There were some drops and some near misses that woudl have probably been touchdown during those games, so the play call are there, they will start hitting at some point. as long as he doesn't turn it over we will win every game

What he needs to do a lot more is throw the ball away. He's taking huge yardage losses with sacks. That's okay now and then but he's doing it a shite ton. If he'll throw the ball away more, it doesn't matter how many td's he throws, like someone else said, as long as we're scoring td's another way.

This. I love watching Coker takeoff, but the reverse spin to escape pressure...he's not quick enough to do that. Needs to either step up in the pocket and run or step up in the pocket and throw it away. That's how you mitigate an edge rusher

Ridley dropped one against either UT or Arky, and Coker missed Ridley against LSU twice that would have been scores. The chances are there, he will hit some going forward.

JPW '08 approach, why pass when you can punch it in?

That's all well and good, until the first time he attempts to throw it away while taking a hit and its picked off.

Then it's "he throws too many INTs why didn't he just take the sack GAWD PAWLLLLL!!!"
