What a way to end the season. Hell of an opponent.

No but the best we faced this season. This oline and even QB to some degree wasnt as good as some of the ones we had with McCarron. We also didnt have depth at QB and the WRs werent as seasoned. This was a very hard working special team as Saban had put it. But not our best overall team despite the Dline depth and dominance. Clemson was a hell of an opponent though.

Too good. The REC needs to do something about Dabo.

You damn right, I tip my cap to the Tigers, they came to play.

I don't know. It's the weakest of the 4 Championship teams. What does this Clemson team look like against 09, 11, and 12 teams?

But they found a way, and in some ways, that makes them my favorite.

Not sure about that. I think OSU last year was prbly the best team we played, with 2010 Auburn being the second best and 2009 Texas (with uninjured McCoy) being the third best

I would argue that the 2012 Georgia team was the best, but they're close. That game and this one tonight really reminded me of each other in some ways.

Hmm, good question. I'll say:

09 - Loss.
11 - Win.
12 - Win.

Clemson is a great team, but Florida in 09 and LSU in 11 were better teams.

Nah

That Clemson team is way better rounded than LSU 11

Was going to say the same thing except Florida 08 instead of 09. They seemed to click better that year.

Yeah forgot about that team, I have tried to erase that loss in 08 to them from my mind.

Auburn was the best. That Ohio State team wasn't that great, they were just playing against one of Saban's worst teams.

The 2008 Florida team was the best. And not just because they beat us. They were top to bottom straight loaded on offense and defense. And Percy Harvin had a migraine and didn't play that day. (? I think that is what happened?). One of the better teams of the BCS era.

This is very hard to say

The 2011 team was great, but did they have the personnel to slow down Clemson on the back end? Better secondary for sure, but that Clemson offense is a big jump over any offense we played in 2011

This Clemson team is easily better than Aubrn 2010. The have a better defense than that Auburn team. Also Watson played Bama better than Cam did and against a better front. If you told me Cams stats prior to the 2010 game I'd have taken Bama big that game. The biggest difference in the last three Bama teams and the first four is the OL in m opinion.

I totally derped my response and said something I had no intention of saying.

I meant that this Alabama team is probably weaker than the '09, '11, and '12 teams. I think they lose to all three of those teams. But they found a way to win and that makes it special.

So...

It's hard to judge whether Clemson is the best team we've faced. I'd need to go back and review.

I don't think the 11/12 teams would have struggled as much with Clemson.

That 2010 Auburn team wasn't a great team. They could have and probably should have lost 2-3 games that year. Auburn luck

I disagree. Watson put up the best individual performance against us in the Saban era. 2011 LSU was probably the best team we faced. We were just so ready for them in NOLA, plus many of their players were out getting hammered at Harrah's not even 48 hours away from kickoff.
