What he says doesn't really make a lot of sense.

More awesome news to report:

Tanner McKee is no longer coming to Tuscaloosa for the Cookout.

This "Champions Cookout" is starting to look like a hot dog vending cart.

Not worried about Mckee, his recruitment won't really start until 2020.

Damn, had a feeling Emmons would leave, but Robinson we need him next year.

Emmons leaving must mean Brian Robinson must be pretty good too...

Not necessarily. Even removing Robinson from the equation, there are still four guys likely ahead of Emmons, and every single one has eligibility beyond this season.

Does that open a spot for Jarez Parks?

It's going to suddenly be a thinner RB corps after 2017.

Damien Harris and Scarbarough likely leave for the NFL.

That leaves Najee, Jacobs, and Robinson

The RB signee in the 2018 class will be able to log some good carries.

Hasn't Emmons been hurt most of his time at UA? Seems like I recall he had a knee problem that kept reoccurring?

Bama really needs to land 2 RB in this class for good depth in 18.

He wasn't even with the team for a calendar year.

We'll be fine at RB. Not worried a bit about that. The DB depth concerns me. We need to go ahead and get Tyson Campbell to commit, and blow Surtain away. It's the best fit and road to PT for both of them.

I hope Nigel Knott is improving. We really need him this year.

I heard that he's really struggled mentally so far. Not unusual for a young guy and our absurdly complicated defensive playbook and assignments. Hopefully he comes around.

BJ makes sense and I expected it at some point. Robinson makes no sense at all. What's up with our DBs transferring when they are in line for playing time? Mo Smith, Sheffield, Robinson...starting to wonder about our new DB coach a little. Gotta keep and develop guys.

Robinson is a loss at a need position for 2018 as far as on-field ability. Based on his tweet a little while ago (a "shooting a bird" emoji directed toward UA), he sounds like a cancer, though. Good riddance.

I wonder if he had made his way into the ole doghouse
