Well this is starting to not sound good.

Apparently Rivals originally reported it but KN is confirming that 4* DT Coynis Miller will visit AU again next week and it will probably be an overnighter. His Florida visit this weekend was thought to be his last one before committing but now looking like AU will get the last one
Well this is starting to not sound good.

I'd hate to lose him. But they haven't exactly developed their DL either.

There wasn't a ton of movement in our post-summer Scout 100 but a new five-star was named and a few other players out West made a nice move up the rankings.

The New Five Star
Talanoa Hufanga, ATH, Corvallis (Ore.) Crescent Valley
Hufanga came in to The Opening Finals rated the No. 40 overall player nationally and No. 1 ATH in the nation. We loved Hufanga on film but wanted to see him up close and personal to get a better gauge for his overall athleticism and ability to play in space against the best of the best. You can say he passed all tests with flying colors.
For a player who doesn't play a lot of 7v7, Hufanga was tremendous all week and showed he's easily among the nation's top defensive backs. He has a great frame, showed a lot of range roaming the secondary and very good ball skills as well.
He's a plus athlete who runs extremely well and when you combine his in-person performance with the toughness and physicality he shows on film, it was a pretty easy call to bump him up in to five-star status.
Hufanga currently has a top 10 led by the Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan Wolverines, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oregon Ducks, Oregon State Beavers, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, Utah Utes and Washington Huskies.

It would be the first big recruiting loss to Gus Malzahn and Auburn, right?

Biggest Movers In The New Scout 100
quote:
Devon Williams, ATH, Lancaster (Calif.) Antelope Valley- (Moves From No. 82 to 32 Nationally)
We know Williams is a tremendous athlete but we were still surprised at how well he performed on the big stage at The Opening. he was dominant as a receiver and made a ton of plays at safety as well.
Williams is a long, athletic 6-5 receiver who can run past a defense or jump over them. He was a tough cover down the field and deadly in jump ball situations. He's not a natural pass catcher yet but is moving in that direction and caught the ball very consistently. When you watch him in pads, Williams is even more impressive and has a huge upside.
Oregon currently leads Alabama, UCLA, USC and Utah.

Brandon Kaho, LB, Reno (Nev.)- (Moves From No. 124 to 99 Nationally)
Kaho has been on an incredible run in the last few months and his stock is on fire. He had a LB MVP performance at the Nike Opening Regional Camp in Oakland and earned an invite to The Opening Finals. He had a dominant showing at The Opening Finals and had another impressive showing at the recent Alabama Camp where he landed an offer from the Tide.
Kaho is an extreme talent and should probably be rated much higher than his current No. 99 rating. He has a college body right now with high level athleticism, playmaking ability and toughness. Kaho is currently committed to BYU but the Tide is definitely in the picture and Washington is another school who looks good for an official visit.

I'd hate to lose him due to our lack of depth at the position and how explosive he is.

Patrick Surtain is now coming to the Cookout.

Some might argue Marlon Davidson in the 2016 class, but he was always going to AU.

Me too. It's a major need. But Auburn is the one place where they seem to stock pile them and never actually develop them. It floors me that kids continue to sign with them because of Garner.

Maybe he's warming up to the idea of playing something other than RB?
Posted on 7/20/17 at 2:26 pm to bamasgot13
Or maybe we will give him a chance to play it as we did Henry and Bo.

Well isn't this just a bright sunshiny fricking day.
Steve Wiltfong just flipped his CB for Nicholas Petit-Frere from Alabama to Florida.

Ok. So this is Harold Joiner's exact quote:
So we aren't his leader?
quote:
How high? Alabama currently is out in front of Auburn, the other program recruiting him hardest.
“I think Alabama has the edge right now ... not my leader but above Auburn," Joiner said. "It’s just Alabama.”
So we aren't his leader?
