Alabama surely benefited when it signed 4-star linebacker Markail Benton in the Class of 2017 because Ross and Benton were teammates at Central High School. Ever since Benton committed to the Tide in June, he’s been in Ross’ ear almost every day about joining him in Tuscaloosa in 2018.
“He’s just really trying to get me to go there with him,” Ross said in October. “I already know he wants me there badly, but I’m going to make my own decision when the day comes.
“Markail is my brother, though. I think he’ll be pissed off for a couple days if I didn’t go to Alabama.”
Ross, the state of Alabama’s No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2018, is in no rush to make a commitment mainly because his mother is stationed in Kuwait with the National Guard, and she won’t get back to the States until June 2017.

Williams announced last month that he was ready to make his commitment, but he ended up delaying his decision. Alabama signed four wide receivers in the Class of 2017, but Ross and Williams are priorities in the Class of 2018.
Alabama was the first school to offer Williams, and on that day, his recruitment almost ended. Saban personally offered Williams at A-Day in 2016, and he nearly committed.
“I had thoughts about doing it then, but I just decided to wait to see what other opportunities would come my way,” Williams told SEC Country at the time.
Oh, by the way, Williams attends Paul W. Bryant High School. I mean, does he really have any other choice but to attend Alabama?

“I have a great relationship with the coaches,” Mason said at the time. “I’m also really impressed with what Alabama does outside of football with its academics. They have a lot of opportunities to succeed outside of football.”
Every time Mason visits Tuscaloosa he’ll be on commitment watch. The gap between Alabama and Auburn, his No. 2 school, is as wide as the Grand Canyon.

Taylor-Stuart visited Tuscaloosa in the summer and told reporters at the time that Alabama was his leader. Taylor-Stuart’s special teams coach at St. Augustine High School is Kevin Spencer, who coached with Saban when the two were with the Cleveland Browns.
The 4-star prospect is expected to make it back to Tuscaloosa before the fall.
This kid has great size for a CB at 6'2" 180 pounds.

Considering the haul Bama just took at WR I can't imagine many of those guys signing with Slabama unless they're just avid fans.
