I have some stuff to do for the rest of the day so I'll continue to post offers when I get a chance.
Let's try to hit 1,000 this year. We've been slacking the last two years.

That sucks. Epps has really good film. Moves great at that height. Good bend and drive in his blocks. Great mobility and flexibility in the air. I think he is a game changer at TE.
I hope this won't be a trend. I really like our RB. He is explosive, strudy and shifty. He looks like a 5-star to me.
I also like our DE commit Davis. I don't know how in the world he is a 3-star with that size, arm length, hand quickness and ability to disrupt. I'm not saying he has to be a 5-star, I'm just saying if you watch his film he is very impresssive. High 4-star at worst. Would not be surprised if he ends up at 5-star. Haters will call it Bama bump.
Our stafg does a tremendous job of finding these talents and accessing them before the recruiting sites can.

Isn't Jones the top LB in Alabama for 2018? A very week year in-state. Especially at DL.
He's the number 384 ranked player overall. And yes, this in-state crop is extremely weak right now. Hopefully some kids will blow up after camps this summer.

I know Pierce is directly from Smart's stomping grounds, but I do hope they keep him on.
He looks so much like Ingram it's not even funny, his cuts are great...

Epps decommits from Alabama, still has Tide on top
quote:
Four-star tight end Malcolm Epps has decommitted from Alabama, he told BamaOnLine on Saturday.
The Spring (Texas) Dekaney product's commitment has been somewhat unstable since his primary recruiter, Bo Davis, left the staff last spring, therefore the parting of ways does not come as too much of a surprise.
"I wanted to get the full college recruiting process, and I didn't feel like I was getting that being committed," Epps told 247Sports' Brian Perroni at The Opening Regional in Houston.

Other schools have pushed for the Houston-area tight end, notably Michigan and Texas. But it's Bama that remains on top, for now.
"They're still my number one school," Epps said. "I just wanted the full experience."
Other schools in contention are Florida State, Ohio State and Texas A&M.
Tide head coach Nick Saban visited Epps' school last month. The four-star tight end is one of a handful of tight end targets Alabama is looking at in the 2018 class. Others include: Will Mallory, Jeremy Ruckert, Mustapha Muhammad and Zack Kuntz.

So he waits nearly a year to decommit?

I guess I can see it.
Despite Bo being his recruiter, he knew that Bo was never gonna coach him. He committed when Bobby Williams would have been his coach, then Cristobal took over. Cristobal left, leaving that spot open for the time being.
I think the bigger picture is you can't really justify de-committing during Bama's success. Now that the offseason has hit and the clock has started on his recruiting cycle, it was time to make that decision.
He wants his 15 minutes of fame...

Epps was terrible at a recent All-Star camp and his rating fell a lot. Also didn't do much his Junior year.

Alabama loses commitment from 2018 tight end
quote:
Tight end Malcolm Epps is no longer committed to Alabama, his father Wisley confirmed to AL.com.
Epps, a four-star recruit in the class of 2018 from Dekaney, Texas, had been committed to Alabama since Feb. 27, 2016.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound Epps also told reporters the news at The Opening Regional in Houston. Wisley Epps said he believes Alabama is still in the mix.
Epps told 247Sports on Saturday at the regional that Alabama is still his No. 1 school, but he wanted to get the full recruiting experience and didn't believe he could do that as a committed player.
Epps is the nation's No. 6 tight end and the No. 126 player nationally. Florida State, Michigan, Texas and Nebraska are among his other offers.
Alabama signed two tight ends in each of the past two classes and inked two Texas tight ends this year in Kedrick James and Major Tennison.
Alabama has three current commitments in the class of 2018 - Bainbridge, Ga., running back Dameon Pierce, Memphis, Tenn., defensive end Jordan Davis and Hollywood, Fla., receiver Xavier Williams

Wish we could flip Kuntz.

No doubt about it, It would be nice getting Kuntz.

Kuntz over other Tight Ends can be a tough choice though...

We got a CB for 5-star OG Jamaree Salyer.
The same guy CB'd 4-star Safety Myles Mason (Pleasant Grove, AL) to Alabama as well.

Not surprising but Coynis Miller told BOL his top two programs at the moment are Alabama and Auburn.
Cristobal was his main recruiter, but it appears Brent Key has been given his AOR.

We offered a 3-star kid out of Utah last weekend. He is ranked as a TE, but everyone is recruiting him as a pass rusher. He said his visit to Alabama was "the best day of his life."
Having said that, USCw offered him yesterday and he's already CBs to them.
Cameron Latu Highlights
Hank says he won't be a 3-star for long a la Coynis Miller.
