Who's Lane
Magilla has been mentioning him since Ruiz decommitted. He finished 2nd for the Chris Sailer award, behind Ruiz.

Seems like Harris and Mathis are both coin flips from our side.

There are still three five-star prospects in the South that have yet to commit to a school. Where will they end up? Get the latest just over a week before signing day 2017...
Out of the 14 five-star prospects in the 2017 class, 11 have committed and eight have already enrolled at the school they chose.
Only three remain uncommitted and each could take it all the way until signing day before they reveal their decisions.
Who is in place to land Aubrey Solomon, Devonta Smith and Tedarrell Slaton as we close in on February 1? Here is the latest.

AUBREY SOLOMON, DT, Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County
Solomon stayed at him over the weekend, he has no plans for the final weekend before signing day as of now and he may already know where he is going to school. He is going to host coaches from Michigan and USC this week, and it looks like Alabama will get an in-home visit as well. Georgia is still working here too, but no in-home visit can be confirmed at this time. The key is the mother, Sabrina Caldwell — she plays a big role in Solomon's recruitment. Since the dead period ended, Michigan has really been trending. The five-star defensive tackle was at one time a Wolverine commit, so could he commit to Jim Harbaugh a second time? This recruitment has been a roller coaster and there is likely another twist or turn these final nine days.

Shea thinks Harris is leaning LSU, but they might not have room for both him and Amik Robertson.
Amik Robertson is a 3 star on the 247 composite. LINK

I think we're gaining momentum for both.

Alabama now high on Tre Douglas' list after the offer was extended Sunday

Tre Douglas called Alabama's Derrick Ansley to check in Sunday night, but what was expected to be a normal phone call ended up being one he will remember for a long time...
Tre Douglas is a junior cornerback out of McDonough (Ga.) Eagles Landing Christian Academy that has been adding scholarship offers on a regular basis the last few weeks.
He eclipsed the 20 offer mark over a week ago, he hit two dozen last week, and on Sunday night, he picked up offer No. 25. It came from Alabama.
"I was just calling coach [Derrick] Ansley (defensive backs) on the phone to catch up," Douglas said Sunday night. "We were talking about my top schools, I told him how Alabama would be up there with an offer, then he told me then that I have an offer from Alabama."
The offer may have surprised Douglas a little. The 6-foot-2, 183 pound playmaker was not calling expecting an offer Sunday night, but with the interest the Crimson Tide has been showing, the offer was not a shock to him.
He has been hearing from Alabama, he has visited Tuscaloosa (Ala.) and this offer puts that program high on his list.
"I have visited Alabama before. I was over there for the Tennessee-Chattanooga game last season and this offer means a lot. It definitely puts them towards the top.
"I really like their winning tradition and the physicality of their defensive backs."
Douglas is not ready to name a true list of favorites just yet. He said he is going to keep "praying" about that.

The DB we offered is 2018

I'd like a pure corner, but for us to land tGOAT class we really need to pull Harris. He's ranked higher.
