AFCA executive director Todd Berry said the coaching community is ready to take a step toward multiple early signing days, and FBS coaches are "unanimously in favor of a mid-December signing period."

Best news I've seen in two days.

In fairness to Sub-humans, they put out better music than LSU fans.

You all should hear the local radio talk shows here in who country. Little Nicky this and that, talking about hootie Jones ref complaints. Mind you folks this isn't callers it's the hosts. I think it's hilarious. Nick did a number on these people for sure

After losing the national championship game to the Clemson Tigers, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide started looking to the future. The 2017 recruiting class could be a big factor as Alabama tries to maintain its lofty position. Fortunately for the Crimson Tide, they have four of the top-5 early enrollees in the SEC.

Several top recruits in the class of 2017 made their way to campus for classes this semester. With their arrival comes a new crop of potential stars. These players are said to be the best of the best, and four of the five are headed to Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Here are the top 5 SEC early enrollees:

No. 4: Jerry Jeudy, 5-star WR, Alabama

Jeudy is the No. 26 recruit in the nation. Jeudy played behind and learned from Calvin Ridley for part of his high school career. He was one of the best receivers in the state of Florida, playing for Deerfield Beach after a transfer in high school.

He finished his high school season with more than 1,000 yards on 77 receptions. Jeudy caught 15 touchdown passes.

No. 3: Dylan Moses, 5-star OLB, Alabama

Moses is the No. 8 recruit in the nation. He brings more speed to the linebacker group. Moses runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and is a ball hawk. He can also squat 500 pounds. Moses, the top outside linebacker in the class of 2017, was the first outside linebacker to join the current class.

No. 2 Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama

Leatherwood is the No. 6 recruit in the nation. One of Leatherwood’s biggest contributions may have been helping land Moses, according to him. Big and physical, he will add to an already strong group of lineman who will pave the way for a loaded backfield. The 6-foot-6, 327-pounder from Pensacola, Fla., was a 4-star recruit at one point but worked his way to the 5-star ranking.

No. 1: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama

Harris is the No. 1 recruit in the nation. Not that Alabama is hurting at running back, but Harris will add a lot of talent — and size, at 6-foot-2, 224 pound. He stuck with his commitment to the Crimson Tide after speculation that he could flip his commitment to Michigan.

Bo Scarbrough and Damien Harris will be back for the Crimson Tide, Although Scarbrough will nurse a broken leg this offseason. So, newcomer Najee is just the latest in a long line of 5-star running backs to touchd down in Tuscaloosa.

Bama reloads signing first ever 6-star

I don't care if he is 6'9, 300 lbs. and can run a 3.7 40. If he can't block and learn the nuances of the position, he won't play RB as a TF at UA.

frees up scholarship room towards the 85. we lose 2 QB's going forward also. I still think we lose at least another RB and possible a WR.

QB competition is good thing! Hopefully Tua is as good as advertised and pushes Jalen to up his passing game. It would be awesome to have two solid DT QBs. Hopefully, Jalen makes the typical Frosh to Soph improvement.
