Toryque Bateman, 3-star OT out of Gasden City had gotten a ton of CBs to Michigan today.

Does Michigan want anything in Alabama just to say they did?

Why you say that.......Bone has known for quite sometime that he was silently committed, yet never ever let people know he was.

Because Bone might not have ran his mouth this time, but he has done it before.

Jeudy is a smooth receiver, a clean route runner, sure handed with 4.5 laser-time speed in the 40-yard dash. His releases off the line of scrimmage are super, and he's as good as anyone coming out of his breaks. After the catch Jeudy is elusive with the ball in his hands and plays even faster as he finds that top-end speed quickly.

I feel like if I were to google this quote, it would pop up in recruiting articles about Amari Cooper and Calvin Ridley.

What's the deal with Maurice Smith and why won't Bama let him go to Georgia?

We're not going to let players transfer to conference rivals. Pretty standard. If he wants to go to JUCO and come to you guys, by all means.

Pretty standard. Didn't Smart recently prevent a transfer from choosing any SEC program?

There's not a hand full of former assistants at Missouri either.

There is a difference between the transfers.Saban and apparently the SEC office don't want teams raiding each others GRADUATE TRANSFERS.SEC may even vote it into a rule soon.

Well, Chris Black was a graduate transfer, so aside from Maurice not technically being a graduate yet, I'm not sure there is much difference, other than a couple of former Bama coaches being on the receiving end of the transfer...

ETA: It is a pretty dangerous precedent to allow guys to transfer in conference without sitting out a year though.

We let Black because he's a mediocre player going to a mediocre team, no threat. Mo Smith is a good player going to a talented team we could see in the Dome. Big difference, it's our right to deny it and I'm glad Saban did. Mo would be starting for Bama anyway this year so it's a stupid decision in the first place. If he wants to go to Georgia he can follow the rules and sit out this year.

He wants to go to Georgia to finish out his career with the guy who recruited and coached him for 3 years. You can't fault him for that.

However, it would set a terrible precedent if he were allowed to go to Georgia given the high amount of interconference coaching changeover.
