Bone is on Twitter bitching a little at reporters trying to be the first to break the story. Irony at its finest

Why you say that.......Bone has known for quite sometime that he was silently committed, yet never ever let people know he was.

Alabama landed one of the country’s more electric receivers Thursday evening in Deerfield Beach (Fla.) High Top247 receiver Jerry Jeudy as the Crimson Tide look like they’re about to go on a run of big-time pass catchers.

The 6-foot-1, 177-pound Jeudy chose to play in Tuscaloosa over Florida and Miami. He had over 30 offers altogether.

“He’s dynamic,” Deerfield Beach coach Jevon Glenn said. “He’s one of the best that I’ve seen.”

Jeudy is a smooth receiver, a clean route runner, sure handed with 4.5 laser-time speed in the 40-yard dash. His releases off the line of scrimmage are super, and he's as good as anyone coming out of his breaks. After the catch Jeudy is elusive with the ball in his hands and plays even faster as he finds that top-end speed quickly.

“He’s a great athlete as well,” Glenn said. “People forget if he wanted to he’d be one of the top cornerbacks in the country.”

This summer in Oregon 247Sports named Jeudy to The Opening Dream Team for his strong performance among the nation’s best at the Nike World Headquarters.

Jeudy joins an Alabama class that 247Sports ranks No. 2 nationally. Also in the boat is 6-foot-6 receiver Tyrell Shavers and next man in at the position looks like Devonta Smith. The Crimson Tide program is in the driver’s seat for a couple more receivers but the best bet to join these names on National Signing Day as of today looks to be Henry Ruggs III.
