Apparently Jacob Eason is OVing to UF. I know we have Hurts, but would we consider turning up the heat on Eason as well? He must be open to a second QB in the class since UF already has Franks.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I want all the QBs.

I was hoping we would get him.

Robertson was in Athens for the Georgia Southern game and he had a great time. Before that, he was at Alabama for their game against LSU. At that time, the former Alabama commit may have stated to lean back towards the Crimson Tide. The buzz right now with the opening at Georgia is former Georgia Bulldog, current Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart is the frontrunner. If that plays out and Smart ends up in Athens, that only helps the Dawgs with Robertson.

"I had always been very interested and thought very high of UF because they were my first offer," Leatherwood said. "The program is making a change for the better, and it would be great to represent my home state.

"I have a great relationship with (offensive line) coach (Mike) Summers, but they hold a very sturdy No. 2 in my recruiting behind Alabama."

Despite having one heck of a weekend, Leatherwood's heart and loyalty remains with Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide, the juggernaut program that gladly accepted his verbal pledge back in early June.

"I love the winning tradition they have at Alabama," Leatherwood said. "They compete for national championships every year! And not only that, but Alabama is simply o-line U."
Leatherwood says he's done taking visits until the spring.

#NotreDame offers #USC WR commitment @VelusJr, currently the No. 1 WR in Alabama.

Anybody good at breaking down WR film? I'd love to hear opinions on how Velus Jones stacks up to Simmons, Gavin, Diggs, Mykel Jones, etc.

I'd hate for us to miss out on an elite WR in our own backyard. His recruitment has been blowing up lately.

Article on Rashan Gary's Iron Bowl OV

quote:

He already officially visited Michigan and Ole Miss, and has a Jan. 15 trip set to USC. He is also trying to set up a last official visit, which will be to either Clemson, LSU or Alabama, Coney said.

Interesting that he didn't say anything about Auburn's play on the field. LINK

If Napier goes anywhere, I guarantee Jones is the first guy he offers. Like Pruitt with Nate Andrews, loves the guy.

Could be a situation he walks away with an offer post AL-MS game, like Jon Cook did.

All I have on Wilson is old. I've heard nothing new except what Rodney Orr is saying.

Rodney says there's a good chance he'll hold off on committing to wait and see how the coaching stuff shakes out. Most of his sources thinks it's Bama, but one thinks he was leaning to UF as of a couple weeks ago.

Lucky posted on BOL that they expect Kirby to take the Georgia job.

He also said if Tucker isn't promoted to DC, look for Saban to potentially reach out to Pruitt and Florida DC Geoff Collins.

I know Pruitt is an a-hole but landing him would definitely soften the blow we are going to suffer from losing Kirby's Georgia recruiting pipelines.

He's a recruiting machine. Half of UGag's class or more are hanging on whatever he does.

Pruitt is too much of a job hopper for me. Plus, being a megadouche doesn't help much.

Yeah he's a prick.

However, those 16-18 year old kids we are recruiting love him.
