Pineiro may be the most important recruit in this class.

Yeah. We may need to get him a visit from the bagman. Anyone going to be near Miami anytime soon?

And now I apparently have been accused of trying to attain "insider" status by some dude named fireball on BOL:

quote:

Tide saint is a poster on tiger droppings. He wants to be an insider. He posts articles from bleacher report and all the camps that are held all over the country. If info doesn't come from one of his cronies there he becomes negative nancy. Pay him no attention. He knows nothing except what he reads. Carry on.

I guess this guy just skips over the posts where I call out and vilify "insiders." What a fricking idiot.

Free post from Barton Simmons on Chadarius Townsend's ranking:

quote:

Recent Alabama 2017 commit Chadarius Townsend has been graded out on 247Sports as a four-star with a 93 grade. He is currently slotted as the No. 112 prospect in the country. The Tanner (Ala.) High School standout could continue to rise when we're able to see him in person. The small school talent has dynamic and explosive film and he was reported as being one of the fastest prospects at Alabama's summer prospect camps. Townsend is expected to play defensive back at Alabama initially but we could see him develop into a special teams force in the return game and even a candidate for some two-way work.

I wonder which ASB poster is "fireball". I doubt he is a lurker.

Who are the lucky winners? UGA made the cut.

Derrick Brown, a 5-star defensive tackle from Lanier High School, tweeted out his list of winners on Saturday. The rest of the fab five are Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi State.

UGA is considered to be the school to beat for Brown, who publicly named the Bulldogs as his leader during the spring. At one point, there were rumors floating that Brown had “secretly committed” to UGA. He denied the rumors, later saying that he didn’t have a leader.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder will commit around February’s signing day.

If I had to guess it would be I Love Bama, Chadaristic, or at least someone from that Jawon Pass thread a couple weeks ago. Most likely someone who doesn't post in this thread.

I don't know why people get so offended by this thread.

He has over two dozen scholarship offers, but there is one school that he visited this summer that has taken the lead.

"UCLA is No. 1," said, Johnson, "then it is LSU, Alabama, Florida State, and Stanford."

Why are the Bruins on top? It is all about coach "Meat" (Defensive back coach Demetrice Martin) said Johnson. The defensive back coach and Johnson talk weekly and they are developing a strong relationship. When Johnson spent time on UCLA's campus, he said it felt like "family" and the coaches treated him like a top prospect and they never forced recruiting or asked him about making his commitment.

I guess we are number three on his list The other day 247 reported that we were #5 on it.

"Little possesses ideal size and length," Newberg exlained. "This five-star talent from Allen has a terrific frame with plenty of room to add weight and bulk. Little also showed terrific feet and balance for a big man. He has a strong base and can generate some explosion through his hips."

"It seems as though with each recruiting cycle there’s a prospect or two that just fit the prototype tackle. In this class of 2016 it’s Little. He has all the physical attributes, mental makeup and brass to soon develop into a top flight college tackle."

Greg Powers, Scout analyst, still thinks Little ends up at UA FWIW.

Scout thinks it will be an FSU/Michigan battle for Nasseir Upshur. Really going out on a limb there.

Oh no. Now he's not going to post the offense update. You are really going to receive the ire of most of the BOLers now.

I know.

Did you see what I responded back to him?

Good. I wouldn't want you to misquote the other Team War Room paragraphs that pertained to the offense. Why don't you just re-link what the staff here posted weeks ago instead? The information is going to be the same anyway.

That should bring the downvote drama queens out in droves until the new admins over there delete it. That site was so much better when Charles was there.

Why do I get the feeling that Hank reads Scout free interviews and then calls the prospect to get the exact same interview?

Your favorite BugaPainTrain7 posted that White, Fulton, Lawrence, Manuel, Mullen, and Divinity are on board.

I'd recommend screen capturing that because he will probably delete it when he is wrong. 99% chance LSU misses out on at least one of those prospects. #6for6?
