The Hulk has been our most vocal recruiter so far. Hurts is a little, but not close to the level of Barnett last year.

Elite 11 Interview: Jawon Pass
Chad Simmons
National Recruiting Analyst

BEAVERTON, Ore. - Is Jawon Pass ready to announce his decision? He is down to three schools and he is "80-percent" sure of of what school he will choose...

Jawon Pass will commit on July 16, but to who?
Will it be Alabama, Auburn, or Louisville?

The four-star signal caller out of Columbus (Ga. ) Carver has visited each of his finalists this summer and he may return once more to one of the three before his decision.

He says he is "80-percent" sure of the school he will choose and you can get the very latest in this interview.

80 percent isn't good for him just means his recruitment wont be finished even when he does verbal.

Or he is trying to keep people guessing. Recruits usually like to drum up some excitement before the announcement. What fun would it be to say you're 100% sure where you want to go, and then visit UA the next week. It might spoil the surprise in the announcement for him.

Yea I agree but he is really all over the place. Never really seen anything like it. Hope he builds some nice relationships while out there.

I think I was on a plane with three prospects competing in the Opening. I just landed in Salt Lake City from Atlanta and I swear I recognized one of them. I can't place his face but I'm gonna go through our offer list once I get home.

I wouldn't say anyone is really struggling. This is elementary stuff physically. Others look better than pass though.

Of all the guys here, Pass has been the most up and down, but he's a worker, wants to be coached up, being a sponge out here.

Obviously with Pass's game, when you add the element of the run, changes everything. He's making plays with his legs, getting the confidence going, and he's by no means a bad passer, but next to some of these guys out here, not as consistent.

Flowers' HS coach's understanding is that Flowers was ruled ineligible because of a large jump in his ACT score

LINK

Why couldn't he take the ACT again?

His score was only a 19. How low was his first score that the second would be a suspicious improvement?

NCAA is just wrong here and the same with A Hill there needs to be like a statue of limitations. They should only get a certain amount of time to verify and/or question that entrance requirements are met. Once they allow the student to be admitted it should no longer be in their hands concerning him staying academically eligible. Once a student is enrolled his academic eligibility should be governed by the institution they are attending and report status to NCAA if student athlete is no longer eligible. The NCAA had their opportunity. And unless they have proof, not speculation because someone failed to do their job in the first place, they should have no say especially after the athlete has been enrolled and passed a whole semester like Flowers and Hill both did. Now what happened with Robinson the first time going to AU where they had proof of academic fraud is a different story but I have yet to see it here and definitely was not the case with A Hill

Elite 11 Highlights: Jawon Pass
Greg Powers
National Recruiting Analyst
BEAVERTON, Ore. - Scout takes a look at the uncommitted four-star signal caller in Elite 11 action.

Jawon Pass, a 6-foot-4 1/2, 211-pound quarterback from Columbus (Ga.) Carver is considering schools like Alabama, Auburn and Louisville to play his college ball.

At the Elite 11 he definitely passed the eye ball test and seems like he could fit in with any of those three schools.

Take a look at him in action on day one.
