I know the MSB has a thread, but I was interested to see if any of you Bama guys enjoy looking at spreads for recreational purposes only. We could make this a weekly or year long thread if there's interest. 
I personally like Hawaii plus the points tonight.

I've read the public loves the over and Cal so the under might be worth a shot just from that angle.

Just locked in two small plays mainly just because it's the first game.

I took the Cal at -20.5. Hawaii was garbage last year. Although Cal lost Goff they have a experienced transfer QB. I am taking the under on the points. I could easily see Cal scoring 40 to 50, but asking Hawaii to put up more than 14 would be a huge task.

Yeah, I didn't do any research at all really. Just saw the public is heavy on Cal and the over, so went contrarian. Hopefully being without Goff and having inexperience at WR helps me.
I only put a quarter unit on both, because it's just for fun tonight being the beginning of football season.

Seemed like Cal was playing for the cover offensively until the end. Thankfully that kid didn't stretch the ball across the goal line to end the game.

Got .5 on Charleston Southern +21 just for the heck of it tonight.

Any thoughts on the Thursday slate? I'm currently looking at Tulane, South Carolina, and Minnesota.

I think Indiana plays @FIU. Line is set at -8.5. I'd take that.

When looking over lines, that Indiana game didn't jump out at me. Not sure how it's being bet, but that line looks like something where the public hammers Indiana and they lose outright

Keep it alive. Tulane was one of my favorite picks for the whole weekend. I'm also sitting here drooling over Clemson minus 7.5. Since its Auburn and since its in the cow palace, I'm looking for a solid pick to put with it in a teaser so I can get Clemson -1.5. That's rock solid money there.

Hook Fla St +1 1/2 up with it...They won't lose in Tallassee to Ole Miss, and you can take that to the bank. 
Also, consider a 10 pointer with: Clemson + 2 1/2, Ala -1 1/2 and Fla St+ 4 1/2.

They play in Orlando. I wouldn't touch that OM-FSU game honestly.
