I know there's the immediate frustration of losing, but I'm glad that we're scheduling quality opponents. Let's us know where we stand.

No shame in losing to a solid squad like Dayton. At least it wasn't by 30+ points this time?

Took one game to make me apathetic again. Good on them, it's usually December. Alabama basketball is so frustrating

I want us scheduling good teams, just not Dayton.

Lost to a quality opponent and people are ready to quit on the team. Just makes me all the more amazed Avery landed the class he did when the majority of our fan base is "apathetic".

I'm just more frustrated it's Dayton. Alabama couldn't even beat them when they had Releford, Green, Lacey, and Mitchel.

Like I said before- biggest pain in the asses.

Dayton and Wichita State - I swear we play them as much as we play South Carolina or Vanderbilt.

All talk. They need to prove something on the court before they expect the majority of the fanbase to be anything but. Dayton isn't some powerhouse. Let's not hype them up to be some basketball blue blood. That's not the kind of team that a good basketball team loses to every year, particularly at home

We are 1-1, how the hell can anyone be apathetic when the damn season just fricking started?

This team is responsible for this year's results, not the past. Is it frustrating? Absolutely. But all this means is we lost to a good team.

Sometimes, getting your hat handed to you by the same guy can teach a valuable lesson.

Hopefully, our basketball team learns that lesson faster than the Tennessee, Arkansas, MSU and LSU football teams have learned theirs.

Apathetic after one loss? That's pathetic. Don't jump back on the bandwagon when the team starts winning. Football has really spoiled some people.

NO doubt, we aren't there yet in basketball, but it's coming. Dayton blows out a Grant coached team by double digits. We are still playing with a roster that is light on talent, too. The guys play hard and they aren't bad, but they aren't Kentucky either. Give it some time and one or two more recruiting classes before you give up on Bama basketball.

It's hard for me to really focus on basketball since we're right in the middle of football season, but I'm really excited about this team and what CAJ can accomplish. I fully expect us to be a bubble team this year, if not last four in.

Yeah, I really want to make the tourney this year. Whether it be on the bubble or not, only 2 appearances in the tournament since 2006 kills me.

That being said, if they can be a #1 seed for the NIT and can make it to the championship, I think it sets up a solid foundation for next years team. Still would like to make the tournament. March Madness is the most exciting period of sports for me.
