This is new for Avery. His NBA teams were always around 24th-26th in pace in the NBA. I really do think his time working with ESPN and being around the league as it has become a more uptempo league has affected the way he looks at things. Plus he apparently played in a very fast system at Southern.

I LOVE the sound of that, especially considering how it would often times take 5 minutes for Grant's offenses to scare.

Great to hear. I hope he can make some things happen this season, but it will be nice to see someone other than Grant calling the plays regardless.
